Hi all,

Couple of quick questions about this forum.

On page 2 part 12, it asks

Have you previously filed Form I-765?

I had to file this back in 2005 for a previous marriage, but i no longer have any of the paperwork for it, but i do still have the original EAD card, should i state YES for this part, and explain this, and send a copy of both sides of the card with it, ( its long since expired ) or answer No, and file as new.

Also i read somewhere you can file the i-765 along with the i-485 and you dont have to pay the fee, has anyone else done this, if this is the case, can you file i-131 for free aswell, or is that a separate filling fee.

Many thanks

The question is about if you filed i765 previously, you did. Of course you should answer Yes.

Does it ask anywhere to explain or return the previous card, if so, do as asked, if not no need to explain or return.

i765 n i131 filings are free when filed in connection with i485

It doesnt state on the forum itself to explain, but i found a sample forum online that says to explain in the extra space at the very end, ill answer yes and explain the situation,

Thanks.

You can but i doubt if there is a need or even a dedicated space to explain other that submitting copies of previous EADs.
