Hi,

Is anyone here serving in the US army? How did you prove employment? LES and Tax transcripts? Or do we upload a copy of our military ID as well?

Thank you!

You could ask your company/battalion commander to write something with a letter head(unit perhaps), or you could potentially use your military ID, but that alone doesn't really prove you're still active. A lot of people leave the service and retain their ID's, add in terminal leave and it may still be valid even before official ETS date.

But LES's (most current) and tax transcripts showing DOD could be beneficial also. If can't get anything from your commander, or even your E-9, I'd use all of those things as proof. Also could show your contract showing your ETS date. Can use your ERB too as it has your ETS and enlistment dates.

Appreciate it! Just received an FE for proof of employment. I'll upload the LES. Tax transcripts have been provided. Are the staff employed at NVC aware of what an LES actually is?! Could get an ERB. My wife was in active duty but she has been in reserve since April. Do we go with an SRB instead of an ERB?

Yes, they are aware of what a LES is. If she is a reservist now then what is she doing for work?

That changes things a bit. Still can use those things to verify enlistment as a reserve member but,  Does she have a co-sponsor? They care about current income, not prior income.

She's about to begin a job as a pharmacist. In a couple of weeks. Pay is way more than required on that. Right in the middle of a limbo here!
