hopefully this week

Ruba,  have the agents at US travel docs given any kind of indication as to when you may hear from the Embassy?  I’m sure they told you that they escalated the matter. But usually when they escalate the matter the beneficiary will get a phone call from someone from the Embassy Visa team.  Anything like that happen yet?

Nothing, we sent an email and they replied by a generic message that they didn't receive our case yet

What? Impossible. Your priority date is May 15 correct?  Did you call at all or just email?

I called both the embassy and NVC and emailed both of them too

So what I did is I called US travel docs every single day for two weeks straight. I didn’t stop and there was nothing they can do to make me stop. All they can tell me is that they have sent messages to the embassy and then I should wait for a reply. Exactly two weeks later I got the email indicating the calendar was open for me.

So what it seems like is that they are scheduling all of us according to their “process”.  There were several appointments open. I booked one. I went to my K-1 group here and advised everyone. They logged on and could not find an opening. So I logged BACK ON and still saw two available time slots. However others in my group could not see the same thing. They’ve reserved spots for specific people only it seems.  30 minutes later I logged on again and it was gone. No one else in my group was able to book.   This is how I know they only open appointment slots for you when they are ready for you. No other explanation.

I am so nervous from waiting but there is nothing else that I can do. 🙏🙏 keep me in your prayers and hopefully I will hear something soon.

Hey anyone who is filling out a K1 or CR1 visa in Jordan send me a private message on this forum. I would love to make a Whatsapp or facebook group for us to communicate in real time. I think it will make us all a lot less stressed <3

98% of what I get from reaching the consular section through phone/email is complete trash. But one person responded to me and said they were planning to open up October appointments at the end of this month.

This is crazy. No idea why they wouldn't explain this or say this.

I feel completely alone because most CR-1 Visa's are automatically scheduled by NVC (I think, from my research), but since I filed the petition here in Amman instead of in America they told me to schedule it myself.  So I don't know anything about what will happen for my situation because it's not a traditional CR-1 but it's not a K-1 either.
