So....

There is an embassy in Panama that recognizes Maduro and there is an embassy that recognizes Guaido.

Claudia went to the "Guaido Embassy" today and they gave her a letter, which acts as a prorroga.  It has the Government seal and a QRC barcode.  At the "Guaido Embassy," they told her that it was valid for use in Panama and for travel to the United States.

Claudia is extremely happy.

I'm extremely skeptical.  :lol:    A printed piece of paper for use as a travel document doesn't give me a lot of confidence.  I'll speak with someone at the airport as well.

I know. But Again....she is leaving Panama and entering the U.S who already recognize this method for an expired passport. Just move as quickly as possible, and she would be okay.

We were able to complete the K-1 Visa Process with my Fiancee having an expired Venezuelan passport.  It's a pain in the ### to do, requires a lot of patience, and a lot of explaining, but it's possible.

The day after my fiancée was approved for her visa, we were notified that her extension had been issued by the Venezuelan government.

I have a doubt, more than a month ago I requested my extension and it has not arrived, my passport is still valid expires in January, could I travel now without my extension? Or do I have to wait for the extension to be extended in my passport?

@Rosy90

Yes.  You should be able to travel without the extension.

You may experience a little difficulty in the U.S. when the passport expires.  So businesses don't accept expired passports as identification.  Hopefully a Venezuelan embassy or consulate will open soon.

Good Luck.

Buena suerte.

my passport is in the embassy of Bogota, soon they stamp my immigrant visa, but I was worried when I returned my passport my extension is not yet ready and I cannot travel. So you think if I can travel like that?

You should be able to travel.  Print a copy of President Trumps decree and keep it with you, in case you run into problems.
