NVC sends forwards petition to US Embassy in Montreal, now what?

Alright so the NVC as now sent my approved I-129F to the U.S. Embassy in Montreal. Do I now wait to hear from them? Do I do something in the meantime? 

In the notice it says go to the website nvc.state.gov/k1 to learn how to apply for the K visa. Do I apply for the K visa now or wait for a reply first? I'm sorry, just a very confused anxious person right now!

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
