does RFE for i-485 affect the EAD

I filed in the last week of august and did my biometrics and everything then i got an rfe in  february regarding a mistake in my i-864 form which i corrected and sent back by beginning of April. im still waiting on any response regarding my EAD it is now outside the nomal processing should i file a request regarding my EAD since the RFE had nothing to do with the EAD when i check case status it says we  recieved your response to the rfe and are working on your case. does anyone know

If you get an RFE on your I-485, everything else stops processing. Your EAD is based on filing the I-485, so the time halts on your EAD until USCIS is satisfied with your RFE response. How long it takes for USCIS to look at your RFE response and accept it, I'm unsure about that.

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
