Dear all, I hope all is well and things are happening for everyone in a good faith.

WEll my question is I file for my info on Freedom of Infomation Act (FOIA) in April Last yr(2006) and as of Today I still have no news on it?? I was told it takes 6-9 months max being a yr?? Has the timeline been increased again??

Can someone throw some light on this for me?? thanks and good luck to you all.

I filed for an FOIA in Feb 2007. They told me 12-18 months to process. You can call them and get the status of your case. When I called I was told I was around 77,000th in line out of 88,000 cases. I canceled my request.

Good Luck

06-29-09 received GC in mail

Had to make an Info Pass appointment because there was a delay in receiving the NOA for our I-751. Never found out the reason for the delay but they gave Thao a 1 year green card stamp in her passport and we got a the NOA 2 days later.

I filed one in October or November of 2005....still no response.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Well i think you doign the write thing.. FOIA was a waste of money n time for me as I have decided to stay in my country , Uk for a bit ie till 2008 dec ... I overstayed for only 13 days and was denied entry in Oct 2004 n i dont think i was banned so i will wait n try the visa next yr to see what they say...
