NSO or PSA birth certificate express

My daughter was born 2 days ago. And I received the birth certificate from the hospital. Well they told me the NSO or PSA will take 6-8 months to come back. Does anyone know of a way it can speed it up? I'm in the Philippines until August then I go back to America.

Birth certificate needs to be taken to the local registry of your city, there ask about expedited service for getting it to PSA to be recorded.   

 

Once you have the PSA BC you will need to complete the passport process at DFA (no appt necessary for the baby).   Are either parent *USC?  Then you will need to complete CRBA and get the U.S. passport as well.

With all of that said, it would be tough to get this done by August ( expedite for the local registry and PSA might get it close)

 

* Judging by your timeline, you are the Petitioner/parent?   CRBA is required
