Hi Guys, here's my interview experience, I didnt know if someone from here have the same experience as mine. They didnt ask for my Affidavit of Support.

Here's how it goes:

My appointment time is 7:30 AM. The guard called all K applicants to go inside the embassy premises around 7 am. There was one disoriented guard though, when he saw my DS-forms in my clear envelope he asked whats shall i do with that, then i said i will submit inside for the interview. He was snoody and said they dont need that there, only appointment letter. I was bit irritated and told him i know it is. If they dont need it, then they should not include the instructions in the packet.

First Step: Get Your Number - here they will collect your DS- forms. Reminder: DS- 156 should be signed. They collected my forms and gave me my priority number and wait for your name to be called for finger scanning. Numbers are being called or flashed on the screen board randomly.

Second Step: They called us for finger scanning and the lady was very nice. She asked for my name and priority number and found out that my CASE NUMBER was encoded wrong so she corrected it. After this go back to your seat and wait for pre-screener interview.

Third Step: Be attentive for your number to flash on the screen board and go to designated window. DOnt worry girls the screen board beeps once they change numbers. My number flashed and i headed to Window 17. The pre-screener is nice and will speak to you in Tagalog so dont be nervous. I was shocked coz She has a very thick folder for my documents. She asked me quite tons of things.

Requirements asked from me:

NBI

Birth Certificate

CENOMAR

Questions Asked:

1. What's your name and date of birth?

2. My Age

3. When did you meet and How did you meet? I answered YAHOO GAMES literati (she is not familiar with literati and wrote it in wrong spelling, so i specified this like scrabble)

4. When did you have a romantic relationship? (Here's i asked her what does she meant, if in person or over the net. She clarified, when we become "US" so meaning NET)

5. How many times did he visit me? twice

6. When was the first visit? (She's noting and read my fiance's letter of intent to make sure it match)

7. When was the last visit?

8. How long did he stay for 2nd visit?

9. Is he married before?

10. Does he have children?

Then asked me for proof of relationship like pictures. I gave some of our pictures during first and second visit, marbe around 12 pictures. She asked for emails and then she said no need because we already have emails in our file.

She did not asked for any other proofs and documents. Advised me to go back to seat and wait for my number for Co interview. I was wondering how come she did not ask for AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT AND ITRs/W2 of my fiance. (The one they have was NOVEMBER 2006 dates, our lawyer provided them everything when they sent our petition to USCIS) I assumed they will ask for latest version (2006 ITR/W2 and latest notarized 134) but they didnt ask, so I didnt insist.

Fourth Step: Interview with the American Consul. My number was assigned to Window 27. I smiled to the CO and said GOOD MORNING MA"AM and she smiled back and asked me "How are you?" I was'nt nervous and told her "I'm doing great, thank you" Her voice is so soft and you have to listen very carefully to all her questions. Other's may find her slang and I make sure my ears are near the speaker so I can hear her clearly and look at her in the eyes once I reply.

Questions Asked:

1. Petitioner's Name

2. How old is he?

3. How did you meet? I said Yahoo Games, here she was shocked but smiling and said What??? Yahoo games? I said Yes it's Literati (i'm sure she's trying to understand what the pre screener wrote which is - "liderated") word game like scrabble

4. How old are you?

5. What's his job?

6. What kind of analyst and for whom does he work?

7. Where does he live? I said Virginia

8. Is he married before?

9. How many times did he visit you? here she looked at our pics (4 pages with captions every pic)

10. When was the last time you saw him?

11. How long did he stay here?

Ohh she also asked me which country i have been to, i said Kuwait. (Kuwait is one of the Police Certificate exempted) SO i hope this is not an issue.

She searched for the record in her computer and Click and click ( I dont know what's she clicking there hahahah) I thought we're done coz she's stamping to some of the papers and writing ( i was peeking what she wrote but I cant!) and but here's a funny thing when she look at my forms she has follow-up questions.

1. So, you work for People Support? I said yes then she said THAT IS WHY i didnt know what she meant by this.

2. How long? More than a year -Then she keeps saying JESUS!

3. HOw many employees do they have now? (I was lost here!) I said this time around almost 8,000 (I estimated coz last year we were 6,500 Again she said JESUS! (in my mind i said JESUS help me!)

4. How could that building can accomodate thousands of employees?

I answered actually in Makati we have now 3 buildings, we have branches in CEBU AND BAGUIO and our HEAD OFFICE IS IN CALIFORNIA. She said ahhhh..

5. What time do you work there? I answered 8pm to 5 am (Manila Time) 8am to 5pm EST (daylight) Here is is again with her JESUS!

6. So you work all night? I said YES

and here final question: PEOPLESUPPORT IS INFRONT OF MAKATI MEDICAL CENTER? She smile and I said YES. She wrote and put slip on my documents but i wasnt able to see, I was still sitting and looking at her waiting for another Q but she smiled and said "We will call you one more time, have take your seat and wait for your number to be called. SO I just said Thank you so much! I wasnt able to ask her if im approved or not =(

FIFTH STEP: My name was called for Window 37. The guy returned the pics i gave to them, he gave me pink slip and advise to pay for DELROS and I asked him if im approved, he then check my papers and said Just wait for your VISA at home coz I not authorized to tell you and he's kinda smiling.

SIXTH STEP: PAID DELBROS

So, here i have mixed emotions! I want assurance, I dont wanna be on AR hehehehhe! I informed our paralegal here in PI about my interview and she said, it's fine and as she saw my documents 2weeks ago and everything is okay. I was told to concentrate on the information that they have submitted coz those are complete with proof of relationship. Im still wondering how come they didnt ask for latest ITR, W2 and 134.

I made friends while waiting and they were told by the COs that they are approved!

HOPEFULLY JESUS WILL GRANT ME VISA! MA GETting PARANOID!

Reading your experience, I must say you did a wonderful job. Since they didn't tell you to wait till you hear from them, you passed the interview and I want to congratulate you on that one. Now all you need to do for now is wait till the visa is delivered to you. Are you tracking it down with Delbros?

Once again, congratulations and may your visa arrives quickly!

Timeline

I could be wrong but in my opinion no one is officially approved the day of their interview. We all asked if we were approved after the CO interview and at Window 37 and everyone we talked to got the same answer, 'Everything looks okay. Pay the Delbros fee and wait for your visa to arrive *OR* to hear from us'. Lina was interviewed on May 16 (Wednesday). I called Lorraine on Monday morning and was told the case was still in process. There was no definitive answer whether she was approved or on AR. I was told to call back on Wednesday. Another couple who interviewed the same day said they called later on Monday and were told the case was approved so I called on Tuesday morning. I was told Lina was approved and to check with Delbros. Her visa was released to them that night and delivered late the next day. So like I said, I think the only way you know for sure that you're approved is when the visa is released to Delbros.
