My case was transferred to Vermont Service Center

Not a June filer or person who got transferred, but just curious. Do you know when cases are transferred, does that usually mean they get approved soon after? Or they just get in line with the timeline for that service center?

I was told by the rep “the transfer wont negatively impact your case” and that it follows initial service center’s timeline even though Vermont’s processing time is longer than Nebraska

Hi there,

just a quick question, what did you do after the Approval? NoA2?

Call the NVC? What's their number?

How much are the fees you pay and through which website and what form of payment is accepted?

  • 06/26/2019 - I-130 priority date
  • 01/08/2020 - I-130 approved
  • 04/02/2020 - DQ (Documentarily Qualified )
  • 07/07/2021 - Interview in Nairobi Kenya (approved)
Country: Ukraine

Not really A quick question.

After approval you are waiting for an email from USCIS that they have transferred your case to NVC, and then you are waiting for NVC to issue you your case # and invoice.  With that you can pay fees on ceac website 325$ and 120 $ (something like that)  You will need account # and routing #.

You can find that and more info on USCIS website and on NVC website.

Do your homework and research especially if you are filling on your own

Good luck

Many of the Nebraska June cases were transferred to another office today (Feb 03 2020). Good luck!

They sent mine to Vermont and on the 4th they sent it to another service center that i do not know at this point. Just received the first transfer  letter today, maybe on Monday the second one will arrive.

Yes, mine went to Vermont as well. I think its just USCIS updating the status, we may not get another notice...
