I know!  what can they possibly be doing there that it takes 31 days to assign 2 numbers to a case?!.. it's just frustrating. but at least the travel.state.gov website is accurate. So you'll probably get yours after Christmas.

I have been researching the timings of getting Documentarily Qualified after submitting all docs and that is a big mystery as some peope get DQ within a week and some are waiting since early november

Sure is a slow process 😣

And they lasted several days without working because of a snowstorm!  Yesterday the page updated, I expected to receive it this week but I see no!  By the way I already have everything scanned and you?

Try to scan everything well so you don't have to go to a second review!  The wait time is very frustrating 😩

Yes, December 10 is your "Sent to NVC" date. But they might receive it a week later like it happened in my case, so you might want to call and find out when they received it, because you wont get a notice of that. The only way is to call.NVC phone number 603 334 0700

you might want to have this date because that's the date you can use to check on your case creation estimate here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/after-petition-approved/begin-nat-visa-center.html

when you do get your case number and invoice created you'll get an email. I dont believe they send physical mail anymore, so your husband's move probably won't matter. We received an email from NVC the next day after the case was created so I didn't have to call and find that out.

Now some people say to not wait for email and just call every day, so it's up to you

Do I have to speak with someone to get the date that NVC received our application? It's a shame they don't have that part automated. Thanks for all of the info!

Yep, have to call to find out whether or not they've received your case. They only contact you themselves once your case has been created and they email you your case and invoice numbers, no email for when it's simply received though. Typically it takes around a week or so for them to receive it, and then of course around 3-8 to make the case number

Yeah the snowstorms don't help the situation.

I am still waiting for a few things and then I'll be ready. Still waiting for the fees to be processed on the CEAC website, which is another pain .. their website is the most rediculous! The insane amounts of captcha I had to do 😡

I have a friend that made the fees for her son and has 3 weeks waiting for them to recognize that the payment was made and they say no, she sent evidence by email ... A headache is this process ...

I must wait both cases to be able to unify them and only pay 1 affidavit ... In total 770 dollars for my daughter and me my husband has to do!

Also the captcha is gonna drive me nuts !!!😠😨
