I know this is not important, but waiting makes me ask *stupid* questions lol! What time of the day did you receive the email and texts? Thanks!

Nothing is stupid in this process. I got an email at around 3pm yesterday  "USCIS case update ..." actually saying that the case was approved, and around the same time my husband got a text saying "an action was made to your account go check it out at egov.uscis." (or something along that line)

Just a small reminder. Apparently there are 2 ways to check your case status online. My.uscis. gov and egov.uscis.gov are the websites. So as of today I checked our case in the my.uscis account and it was not updated, and on the egov.uscis.gov there was a update that we were approved. So people! Make sure to register at the egov.uscis.gov, they are more accurate. And opt in for email and text notifications obviously

Thank you I called them yesterday and they said give 15-30 business days then I just received a notification that they received both packets. I sent the first one, but I did not include necessary info so I redid the packet and sent again so I just received a text for both packets NOA1’s.

You must call the NVC every day to see if they received your package, they will give you the numbers of your case!

When they give you the case and invoice number you can make the payments and start working at CEAC until you receive the letter, which can take a long time!

Thank you dear for your precious advise... I will do the same as you said and I hope it works.

BTW what about your progress??

I’m so grateful for you!

I looked at Nebra processing time for I-129f...it says they are working on January, but I know you got approved and just filed in August. So does that mean their processing time is not accurate? Or is the time jumping backwards?

I found it to be inaccurate and computerized. I submitted my I-129F in August... and received a response a month later.

Okay. I though so. So I will give myself a month before I hear something.

what do you think the appropriate wait will be for one to receive an interview after the documents have been received by the NVC?
