Mine did not match the estimates on the USCIS processing times at all... I was approved sooner than projected on their website.

Only updates we've received are changes on our estimated timelines here on VisaJourney (hopefully they are accurate!). But we are hopeful we will hear before the end of this year!

You cannot compare your timeline with others who have not sent an I129F, of course it will not be the same!

 

Visajourney makes an estimate compared to regular cases, there is no estimated time for advanced cases by request of the petitioner!

 

Texas is working in May, possibly in the middle of this month it's the turn of June!

You must call the NVC every day to see if they received your package, they will give you the numbers of your case!

 

When they give you the case and invoice number you can make the payments and start working at CEAC until you receive the letter, which can take a long time!

Is this VJ approval estimate reliable?

Over the past 4 month our estimate has changed from mid October2019 to may2020 and everything in between. We have not yet recieved NOA2. Priority date is june 17.. i have seen one couple been approved on the october 31 with the same priority date! So go figure how this joint works. Potomac.

I guess VJ estimates could be a good (or bad ) source of hope but not something to rely upon much

Hi I send in a i130 for my husband living in another country i130 got approve on the 4th of October then I received another update starting that they send my case to NVC on the 16th of October what next and how long do I need to wait for a answer from NVC ?

You can call the NVC and ask them if they received the approval. They will not notify you if they receive the approval, only when  the case number is created.

Not sure... they received my approval 10/17 and this week will be three weeks with no case number. But I keep calling and asking.

I try calling them but never get anyone what’s the number to call them please?

(603) 334-0700 - This is the number I use but I call at 7AM and usually get someone in 20 minutes.
