I'm checking processing time for my case on the USCIS site it says 8-12 months.. Is this the estimate months the case will finish?

It’s the estimate between NOA1 and NOA2 but it’s not the time to process the whole case .

Hmm, Someone told me it was the process of the whole case to finish... How long should i add onto the 8-12 till i can move back to the USA? is the estimates even accurate could it happen before those months?

The USCIS time may 8 to 12 months.   It depends on the service center and any RFEs.  Then it moves to the NVC and depends on how long you take to fulfill their requests.  That typically takes a few months.   Then off to the embassy.  You don't have a country specified or time line filled out.  So I'll guess a couple months.   Again lack of information and assuming you are talking about a spousal visa from a county not subject to long Administrative Processing times.

Nope, that is only the timeframe for the USCIS stage and the USCIS is only the first hurdle.. 2 more stages after that..

It is very difficullt to tell you how long your case will take in total because it depends on an awful lot of factors (as mentioned above). Everybody's case is different.
