Friday morning, there was a Many-hour ([2+2]-hour) "planned" power-outage, de-lighted we man.

Subcontractors were replacing equipment that was faulty since subdivision was build in 1ManyManyMany, si man.

 

Friday eve, there was a Many-hour ([2+2+1]-hour) unplanned power-outage, de-lighted we man.

Utility co. had to replace equipment burned out by wrongful high-voltage testing on part of subcontractor, grrrr man.

 

From now on, failure of the electricity to go out shall be known as a power innage, si man.

I hope so. Like I said, I'm not minding just being home with the kids and actually getting stuff done.

I don't remember a day being pain free. Sadly I can't even blame it on old age. I think I would have panic too.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
