In my opinion, if your kid gets accepted by MIT you should move heaven and earth to make it happen for them. As a science and math geek in HS I applied but wasn't accepted. Don't know how me and my family (lower middle class, 7 kids) would have swung it had I got accepted but in the end my parents didn't have to worry about it. To me, an education at MIT or Caltech means way more than some Ivy League or Oxford or Cambridge education.

Two Ecu observations not yet imparted by us, see man:

 

1.  Ecu drivers yield to no one, not even in traffic circles, drivers after our own heart man.

     They also honk their horns frequently, try that in Texas and you Will Be Shot man.

     Curiously, however, they almost never seem to run yellow lights, wonder why man.

 

2.  We saw no dryer fabric sheets in Ecu stores, not stocked man.

     This is almost certainly because so few Ecus have dryers, liquid softener for warshers only man.

Saturday GS/ES report, see man:

 

We proudly announce that our weekly GS/ES report is resumed, back in first-world country man.

 

There were Many GSs and only one ES itineraried, weird balance and the thin results reflect that man.

However, one GS was really an ES, paid off man.

The take, see man:

 -- 2 rag-type hand-towels, warshcloth = $1, deal man

 -- Many (2+2) hardback books for Mini-B. = $2, steal man

 -- Many (2x2x2) warshcloths; ~full pack printer paper = $Many ($2+2), deal man

Total = $Many ($2+2+2+1)

 

Of note, we saw a pre-owned toilet seat for sale at one GS, but it was beneath our impeccably high standards, take note when you confidently place your next POTS order man.

We are always very said to warsh towels after guests leave, sigh we man.
