My ex wants me to buy tickets for xmas asap so he can buy his tickets.  AITA because I want to tell him to go suck on a bag of long pointy items?   He offered to buy the tix himself and have me pay him back.  I said no.  I talked to hubs today and he said to go ahead and buy them but I'd like to see if I get this job on Monday or Tuesday first.  I'm so friggin anzy about it.  I didn't even get a call back about a stall cleaning job.  Like I have a degree in equine science and I can't clean your stalls for you? WT Heck?  /facepalm

Also I have tried making 2 different protein mug cakes.  They're both gross.  I ate them both because I won't waste the food, but protein powder when it's heated just is not good, at all.  Not even peanut butter made this one worth the time.

You are under no obligation to make life easier for him, especially given your current employment situation.

I'm always kind of surprised by the things I haven't gotten an answer back about over the years. Maybe over qualified, maybe not what they were looking for?  I don't know.

And sometimes I'm surprised by what people contact me about.

I think somehow my resume at the time matched up just right with the keyword searches recruiters use for one particular job that I wasn't especially interested in and was clearly a mismatch for my skills, but I got contacted by search firms about like five or six times. After I'd been out of work for a while I eventually let myself be talked into going in for an interview... and discovered that I was right about that.

You know I gotta say, Turtle's bestie? Her super hot single milfy mom, and baby daddy, they get along great and are good friends. And they do their best to accommodate each other. It makes things so much easier on them and their daughter. We've hung out with them individually, and they're both good people. Except they said they're more like brother sister. She said they always fought when they were together.

Did I ever tell you guys that about....a few years ago, out of frustration, and as a gag joking around with Jr and the fat guy, I applied for a job with the local HD? Saying I wanna push a broom? It was pretty funny.

The GM called me and said something to the tune of you are a what? And you wanna do what? And I said "yeah lol". Anyway, we had a great relaxing conversation after I explained that I wasn't really interested in working for HD. He was a stressed out person as well. Those guys are under a lot of pressure to perform. If I remember correctly, he said that particular HD grosses close to a  hundred million a year? I'm like, #### how do they expect you to beat that year over year?

Last full day in Ecu, si man.

Awoke at Many (2+2) a.m. coughing like an illegitimate male child, long time since that man.

Almost certainly an outgrowth of infernal bus-driver´s having kept the infernal windows down on cross-Ecu trip, despite pleas we man.

Then, first plans were to go to artisans´market with Mrs. T-B.´s long-time amiga, sweet she man.

Amiga wore at LEAST a gallon of perfume, oh God man.

We began coughing uncontrollably after she hugged us, stench lingered on us all day man.

Bought pen-holder box & ´´middle of the world´´ desk ornament, $Many ($2+2+1) each man.

Market sweltering but not nearly as much as in past years, spectacular weather for Guayaquil man.

Tried to nap for 2 hours while Mrs. T-B. yakked locally with other amigas, need zzz we man.

Awoke coughing like an illegitimate male child after 1 hour, sigh man.

Last step on Ecu to-do list was din-din at monster-sized mall connected to hotel, go we man.

We, Mrs. T-B., & Mini-B. din-dinned at the American Deli in food court, Ecu food only man.

Amiga re-met us in food court, reapplied at least the gallon of perfume man.

We began coughing uncontrollably again, what did we do to deserve a repeat man.

We excused ourself, partial relief man.

We then bought Many (2x2x2+2) bags of mini-Manichos for our casa, snack for weeks we man.

Mrs. T-B. helped us buy some amoxicillin capsules & cough syrup at a pharmacy, relief probably in sight man.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Great, I'm going to get no sleep tonight. I just had to google fever with cold feet. Why did I do that to myself? He's got no meningitis rash, the fever comes down with ibuprofen, his hands are warm.

I haven't been sleeping very well lately, as in the last few months, not falling asleep until 4 or 4:30 am and waking up at 7 am. So last night at 10 pm I decided to take a Benedryl and 1/2 of a Dramamine and I slept like a log until just before noon. I never do that and I'm not one to pop pills. All day today has been really strange. It's like I've lost time or I've been in a fog or something and I'm now back to full reality. I watched one of my favorite Brit serious that I usually don't miss and it was like walking into the middle of a film with no clue as to who or what. Weird.

You figure out why you've been having insomnia?  Benadryl is my go to sleep medication (which I use rarely). Just one doesn't totally knock me out, so I'm still capable of taking care of the kids if I get woken up or whatever.

Nope. Nothing really different in daily life. Everything is the same work, home, schedule, no new stress that I can think of. Could be the thermostat war at night between me and my mom and just too warm. She likes it at 75 or 76 and I get up and turn it down to 73 and then I fall asleep.
