I love going bowling.  I'm terrible at it, but enjoy it none-the-less.  I do prefer 5 pin to 10 pin though... Canadian and all that.

My TENS unit is about the only thing that is keeping my sciatica in check.  It is especially bad in my lower legs and the tops of my feet lately. Maybe my mid/upper legs have become desensitized to it. Those L5 side of the leg areas are where I've had pain for more than a decade.   🤔

I wish I could keep it on to sleep.

Morning back about as bad as on Saturday, ouch man.

Did not want to leave bed, no man, but did so for cat, hopefully shoot miu man.

Miu didn't eat, so no shoot miu we man.

Made fruitful visit to PetSmart for wet glop and fruitless search there for proper litter, whee/bummer man.

Found Many (2x2x2+2+2+1) cans of appropriate stuff on closeout, major steal man.

We are just about convinced to feed wet glop to miu in morning, too, avenue to shooting miu man.

Fizzicle therapist arrived, we grateful for she man.

Determined that some of Wed.'s benefits were still present, durable therapy by she man.

Remobilized us regardless, no objection by we man.

Even did ultrasound treatment for half an hour, interesting man.

Counseled us thoroughly on how to make it up to/to/in/back from Ecu, counsel she we man.

We are to (see man):

-- Immediately get ourself a cane* for interim use, unload hosed LMany nerve root while walking man

*Mrs. T-B.'s facial reaction to this was utterly priceless, vain/horrified she man

-- Swap carry-by-hand carry-on bag for a backpack or bag with a shoulder-strap, no more hand it to we man

-- Lie or sit down/unload hosed nerve root at every feasible opportunity, lie we man

-- Place folded towel under good-side butt-cheek while sitting, open space for hosed nerve root man

-- Use TENS unit frequently, nightly or as needed man

-- Take Rx/OTC medications religiously per timetables, timeliness is next to godliness man

-- Bring heating-pad on trip, adds no weight or room man

-- Bring Ziploc bags for ice, can divert pain sensors from hosed nerve root to cold area man

-- Pursue many other recommendations, informative she man

Cost of session = "$0 -- this is finishing you up from the other day, si man," si man.

I'm so glad she is helpful. That is a long airplane ride.

Does it help? Mine takes away pretty much all the maybe 7/10 pain when I'm using it, but it slowly creeps right back up to where it was before within an hour

The walking upright thing would seem to cause issues with the lower back, just like it causes issues with human birth versus the ease that other primates have.

Richard Dawkins made a comment that stuck with me about how the design of the human body pretty much proves there was no intelligent design.

My mom had been toying with making her second house there. Sounds like she'd like it, well, maybe not now that there is a bowling alley.

They've been closing up around here, but curling clubs and ice skating rinks are more ubiquitous.

A lot of retirees moving into the area and they generally prefer galleries to alleys. Santa Fe is unique to the SW since it's at 7,000 ft elevation making it cooler temperature-wise than any other city in the region. We usually get about 1 or 2 weeks during the summer in the 90's and the rest of the time it's in the 70's and 80's. I guess Flagstaff is about the same.

I think I might quit my job today.  I've had enough of the mismanagement. Plus, I already kind of told my boss off for her constant criticizing group texts when I'm not on the clock.

.....

I sense she might be displeased that someone isn't outright ignoring her or capitulating.

I once had to print out a policy for a manager stating that text message was not appropriate for work conversations.  My last job did this all the time but as a small business they thought it was normal.  I didnt enjoy all the group texts.

I have a job interview tomorrow.  Really good job.  Fingers crossed.

Good luck!

Her only response was "call me". 😑  I already called HR before I sent it and I don't think a phone conversation is appropriate at the moment.  There is almost 2 weeks before I'm on again, so I do have plenty of time to quit, me thinks.

People in general hate being ignored.  It makes us feel angry and inferior.  My husband seems to thrive on it though. Wish I had that sometimes.  I constantly have to remind myself that it's not personal.

And even if it is...should i really care? Probably not.

Yeah, I don't mind being ignored. I just sort of get on with things.  I can see that it is frustrating, but I don't have a work phone and neither does anyone else, so we are under no obligation to respond, in my opinion.

I'm finding that I'm not losing any weight due to the stress and breaking out like crazy. Plus, it is really hard to work out or even go for a walk when I'm on call for days at a time.
