Mini-B. had his first full day off skool for break, veg wee man.

Mrs. T-B. also semi-vegged, semi-veg she man.

She spent morning yakking on phone with amigas, yak yak YAK YAK YAK she man.

 

We exhaustedly arrived at casa from a (of course record-breaking) week of POTS sales, tired we man.

Mrs. T-B. was cleaning the kitchen, insane she man.

We immediately began to call Many11 for an ambulance, commit she to asylum we man.

(After that, of course, we could call the rubias, call they we man.)

 

Mrs. T-B. even cleaned out part of the refrigerator, byebye green fuzzy science experiments man.

Kitchen does look habitable again, amazing and imagine that man.

Mrs. T-B.'s sanity level still unclear, watchful waiting we man.

Cat T-B. used box just now, by all signs/sounds for #1, pee miu man.

On view/by smell, it was #2, pure liquid man.

Miu has out-pooped her body weight or greater every 2 days, prolific miu man.

Vet wants to consider hyperthyroidism, diet/insulin adjustments not working man.

Poor miu man, sigh man.

It will be gone Jan 2 i think they said. 

I can very much see how they charge so much for this tree. It's awesome, so thick and full.

That's a gorgeous tree, I might get a prelite next time. Not sure I should bother, I haven't managed to get the tree up this year so far. If I don't get a shifty on soon, there will be no point at all.  

We moved in here two years ago yesterday. No time to do much that year, everything was in boxes, and we didn't get the truck unloaded until the late afternoon of the 23rd. Last year I had it all done, and early too. This year I cannot be bothered.

I just got back from the Dominican Republic last night....I had a great time, I'll be honest there were some really tough moments when I struggled with grieving but that is going to happen & I accept that, I made some lovely new friends, I saw some amazing sights, took part in some incredible experiences & had some startling realisations about many things.....including learning how to sex a dolphin & that bowling pins are on strings.....STRINGS!!....

Anyways, it's really been good for me to go off on my own & have some downtime with sunshine(for once in my life I'm real hooman colour-normally my skin stays very much a Scottish shade of blue).

Much of Saturday was spent helping Uncle T-B., infirm casa-bound senior he man.

His motorized scooter was inoperable, stuck in unit man.

Out of food for Many (2+1 or 2+2) days, how come no one told us EARLIER man.

 

We went to a Walmart for the shopping, madhouse scene man.

Walmart grocery section OUT of many of the desired items, why we dislike Walmart man.

Did best we could regardless, intrepid we man.

 

Entered Uncle T-B.'s unit, at LEAST Many if not Many00 degrees inside, egad man.

Unloaded groceries, unload we man.

Looked at scooter & troubleshooter manual section; decided uncharged*, charge we man.

Emphasized to Uncle T-B. that we had to leave soon, emphasize we to senior he man.

Uncle T-B. kept acknowledging but kept starting new conversations when we stepped to door, egad man.

We sweated profusely, Many or Many00 degrees inside man.

Uncle T-B. asked why we were sweating, inquire senior he man.

We replied that it was Many or Many00 degrees inside, hot stuff we man.

Uncle T-B. bewilderedly replied, "It is?", bewildered he man.

Later, we went to Many (2+2+1) Below to get gifts for Mini-B., buy we man.

We stayed up late wrapping them, wrap artist we man.

Sunday report, see man:

 

We were able to combine Many (2+2) laundry loads into Many (2+1), proficient enterprising we man.

This was good because, see man:

  1.  We had an errand for ONE item that cost us over an hour, packed store man

  2.  We popped over to see Uncle T-B. again, we see senior he man

 

We stopped at closest supermarket to get Uncle T-B. the missing items from Sat., purely our idea man.

Uncle T-B. grateful and surprised, see man.

  -- His scooter had worked that morning, courtesy of overnight charging man

  -- Scooter not plugged in to recharge when we saw it, courting same outcome man

  -- Not one item bought on Sat. had been put away, still on kitchen counter man

  -- Uncle T-B. in same clothes as on Sat., not surprising man

 

We (and, in fact, Mama T-B.) think that Uncle T-B. is not far from needing Assisted Living or a nursing home, sigh man.

We are going into POTS headquarters on two days this week, enterprising we man.

  -- Monday, to spearhead/supervise/oversee final sales push, as though one is needed man

  -- Friday, to organize the teams of CPAs who will compile our profts, crucial man

 

The POTS corporate helicopter is parachuting mass orders to groups, states, and smaller countries, fly me man.

We shall commute to the POTS office via limousine, chauffeured by Jeeves and Smedley, respectively man.

Monday is last realistic day to order your POTS for under-tree placement, get with it man.

Chanukah orders more flexible, Many (2x2x2) days to holiday man.

My internet has been shocking since we were hit by lightening back in August. It comes and goes, works for a bit and then stops. I've lost count of the number of times I've rung these people, only to be told it's my router, it's my cables, something is wrong on my end. 

It went off again last night, and came and went at about 2 minute intervals.  This morning it went well for about an hour, and then was gone again. It's usually pretty pointless ringing them, but anyway I did. After the usual babel getting through to an actual human, come to find out they thought it maybe just wasn't me. It might be my lines into the house.  An actual English speaking person, that in itself was a shock.

 

So..I asked, how many days until I can get this repaired? Christmas you know,  and all of my family are in different countries and it would be jolly well nice to be able to speak with some of them on Skype. Last time it was five days for Pete's sake.

 

Would you believe two hours.  A very old guy, looking quite a lot like Santa himself. Opened the box outside and asked why the heck is it all blackened and scorched in here? We were hit by lightening I said, and the last tech said this was okay to leave. Well, he yanked it all out and threw it in the bin. Replaced it all, went up and down the road for half an hour in his cherry picker truck and actually tracked down the broken bit and mended it.  800 feet from the house.

We are good at last.
