Eh, not super. Some stuff that I had mentioned, some slightly fabricated things that were resolved. Unfortunately, my relationship status is not a protected class, so must roll with those punches. No written warnings or anything of the like.

I did get my green card(my apologies as I thought I'd let you all know-my head is where the sun don't shine often currently).....& I have booked a vacation(as they call it over here) I managed to grab me a crazy Black Friday price slash(75% saving!) all inclusive rooftop suite for 12 nights in Punta Cana....I fly out Dec 9th

Yes and no. I feel like my boss handled it fairly enough with the information she had been given beforehand.

Excellent! Would love to "chill" in Punta Cana some day. Great choice. And I came to know Black Friday travel deals from a couple of years ago when seeing an airline offer RT tickets from LAX to Barcelona for $329. Jumped right on top of that.

 

This year's black friday was a bust for me. Tried grabbing a $129 laptop at Dell.com and then when I went to pay with my cc, they validated it but then informed me the price of the laptop went up to $249 and I needed to enter the new price and resubmit. I was either too slow or it was some sort of bait and switch. Oh well, I guess my streak of 16 years of not buying any Dell products remains intact.

Stayed in casa except to gas/warsh the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile, nearly perfect Sunday man.

Conquered the minimum Many (2+1) laundry loads, a snap man.

Swapped out our Many (2+2+2+1) brown shoes for our Many (2x2x2) black shoes, shone all latter man.

 

Heard from POTS slaves staff that perhaps Many,000,000 pre-owned toilet seats were sold on Black Friday, $i man.

Customer line wrapped halfway around the city, according to news reports man.

According to my study of the USCIS website I'm hoping I'm reading it correctly that now I have my green card in my sweaty paw I can come & go as I please as long as I have that. Dominican Republic does not require a visa unless you stay longer than 30 days, so I'm all set-just a matter of running to the pharmacy today to get a couple of shots(Hep A & Typhoid) throw a few things in a case(including the two pepper sprays I purchased yesterday, one is purse sized & the other is a tiny one with a carbine that will clip onto my bikini) & off I pop!

This time next week I'll be on my way there
