Happy Thanksgiving all :)

Just us here, I've been up for a while getting dinner started, but  everyone else in the house is having a lie in, even Herself. It's a good thing we aren't on the road today. It's absolutely pelting down rain out there.  There are actually people camping outside stores to get the jump on Black Friday in this weather.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Our supermarket gave Mrs. T-B. a coupon for Many% (2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2+1%) off a cart purchase, $i man.

We will use this on Thurs. to get our pre-cooked turkey, $avvy we man.

The turkey can be bought only at the deli register, store policy man.

For the Many% discount off the turkey, we must surrender the coupon there, single-use man.

This is a waste of a valuable, perfectly good Many%-off coupon, obviously man.

Most other customers will be buying only their turkey at that register, logical to them man.

We will irritate those behind us in line as the deli staff also ring up the rest of our full cart, hee hee :devil: man.

Update, see man:

We & Mini-B. went to store before Many (2x2x2+1) a.m., early we man.

Got every item on long shopping-list, thorough safari man.

Deli counter checkout line empty except for us, perhaps among day's earliest customers we man.

Deli lady gave us a bar-code sticker to take to front registers, scan/pay there man.

Deli lady then brought turkey + fixin's to front register for us as we checked out, nice service man.

Mini-B. was extremely helpful to Daddy in-store and with loading/unloading, good boy he man.

As for our Many%-off coupon, dig this man:

     1.  It gave us $Many ($2x2x2x2x2x2-2-2) off, covering cost of turkey dinner man.

     2.  Store loyalty-card discounts yielded $Many ($2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2x2) further, boon man.

Many.  Our paper coupons yielded $Many ($2+2+1) in further reductions, savvy we man.

We saved $Many ($2x2x2x2x2x2x2 - 2x2x2x2 +2) off rack price, serendipity man.

This = Many% (2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2-1%), acceptable anytime man.

Mama T-B. highly impressed with this and used it to tell Mini-B. how important math is, impressed senior she man.

(Uncle T-B. had to cancel appearing, infirm senior he man.)

Pre-cooked turkey needed 2 hours in oven for eatability, perfect timing man.

Fixin's included stuffing, mashed taters, cranberry sauce, & gravy, excellent man.

Everyone out-pigged heartily*, ingest much we man.

We then took a tryptophan-overdosed Many-hour nap, zzz we man.

It was a nice Thanksgiving, appreciative we man.

*Cat T-B. got can of turkey + duck paté, thankful and ravenous miu man.

Well that sucks. I guess you aren't trendy enough and they didn't like what you picked.

Did you recheck the listing out of your cart? Sometimes they make a new listing for the sale prices.

For Walmart you should have ordered it on Wednesday after 10 for you. That is when they had their BF deals open up online.

Went after my 36 hour shift to Walmart yesterday. Picked up a 40" TV for $98 and a $150 laptop.  We just need an extra one that isn't a macbook and so the Dane and my oldest will stop bickering over the one they've been sharing.

Our Viernes Negro highlights, Black Friday man:

Drove Many miles to "nearest" Sears, dedicated safari man.

Got socks (full-price), pants, shirts (deep sale) for Mini-B. = $Many ($2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2), steal man.

Went to "thrift-shop street" in same locale, not visited for probably Many (2x2x2x2) months man.

Salvation Army store converted to something private and then closed, bye man.

Other good store is now a motorcycle shop, bye man.

Remaining store had two tag colors at half-off, score we man.

We got 2 ties (one handmade in Vietnam, other Jones Nueva York) plus small bagged items via that, score we man.

Total = $Many ($2x2x2 + 2+2 - half of half a buck), steal man.

Went to indoor pulga, Spanish flea market man.

Was just after opening, not many stores open so nothing to buy man.

Went to NAPA Auto Parts, proximal to pulga man.

Got store-brand Dexos motor oil in Many-half-of-half-gallon jugs, 2 thereof on good sale man.

Got separate half-of-half-gallon bottles to equate what T-B.- & Mrs.-T-B.-mobiles consume, full amount man.

Got wiper blade and pair of work gloves, also man.

Used AAA discount for Many% off normal prices, save we man.

Total = $Many ($2x2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2x2), deal man.

Mrs. T-B. went to usual chica-places and blew her funds, so what else is new yawn we man.

A tiring-yet-accomplished Viernes Negro, satisfied we man.
