We harvested 3 deer. 

It was just 2 of us. The other 3 couldn't make it. 2 started new jobs, and my boat mechanic buddy had a mild heart attack. 

I must have seen about 2 dozen deer.

Had successfully put off any Christmas decorations prior to this week, but figured we probably needed to get stuff soon in order to be able to decorate a tree on Black Friday (because other than just maybe a quick run to the grocery store, we are not shopping on Black Friday).

 

So after a quick run to Target, we now have a fake tree, some lights, some ornaments, a wreath, a couple of stockings, and some other little stuff.

 

... and everything except the actual tree decorations are up, because PRG seems to think this is fun (and it actually is, really).

 

/never had anything previously because I lived alone and never spent the holidays at home

This is like deja vu from 5 years ago when La Colombiana arrived for our first Christmas together. And Dave, you're right, it really is a lot more fun than I had anticipated as a life long bachelor. Take her to the Nutcracker Ballet if you really want to score points, and that's a lot of fun too.
