Hi folks, thought I'd pop in to say hello to you all & see how everyone's doing these days?

I'm struggling along, halways in a daze most often, just the same I have managed to pass my driving test here.....& I'm about to buy back my husband's car.....I tracked it down to a dealer in Indiana so I'm off to get it on Wednesday-they're holding it for me until then....

I have my USCIS interview on Nov 14th, bloody attorney STILL unsure exactly what will happen but has spoken to a staff member there who is sympathetic to my situation & is requesting she be in charge of my case.
In the meantime I've been advised to prep with updated family affidavits etc so I'm including letters from doctors etc & photos from our courthouse wedding & from our time in the hospital.
I've never known such pain as I'm going through-I attended a family wedding last week & I surprised myself with how well I dealt with being there but fell completely apart afterwards.

Normally for Halloween I goto my friends Halloween party so this year just feels so entirely alien from all I know.

Anyways...hi.

Thanks for checking in, I was wondering how you are getting along. You are doing very well, and I must say I admire your strength in moving forward in spite of the daily struggle.

I hope all goes well on the day with USCIS, please let us know how you go.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

An extra hour, yah, myth. My dog has an inner watch hidden somewhere on her person, and she was on time this morning even if the clocks disagree.  She'll be sat staring at me this afternoon, when she expects her dinner. I offset the doggie alarm for dinner, bark! Bark!, by just  half hour, so as the poor little thing doesn't starve to actual nothing.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I hate the time change. Can we once and for all get rid of this stupid change. I hate that they try to say it is for the farmers gives them m ore day light. Umm no the amount of light is the same you dip sticks!

Oh and the Jedi doesn't fall for it either. So up at 5am his time let the dogs out and chickens out of the coop. So no fake extra hour of sleep.

Before GS-ing, we took Mini-B. to the kids' activity at Home Despot, bachelor outing we + wee man.

We got there right at Many a.m., advertised start-time man.

The HD staff weren't nearly ready, no man.

We have never seen such flailing incompetence there, no and grrr and :bonk: man.

They finally got their act together by half-of-half past Many a.m., long line of parents/kids by then man.

Project was somewhat more difficult than usual, frustrating man.

It took us nearly an hour to complete, other parents struggling too man.

Furthermore, we think that we hurt our back during the completion process, awkward sitting/bending man.

Furthermore, Mama T-B. was waiting to dote on Mini-B., senior she dote on wee man.

We were dazed during the visit, probably hurt ourself man.

At end of GS itinerary, we were near Costco and offered to Mrs. T-B. that we go, volunteer we man.

Place was an insane, cacophanous madhouse, any weekend man.

We most definitely hurt ourself carrying our boxed stuff into the casa, ouch man.

Tonight = Heap Strong Medicine if it will indeed help, doubtful we man.

Was it the Eagle? I thought it was pretty easy. No smashed fingers yay!

I saw a meme on facebook about the time change thing. Shows a native American, something about cutting a foot off the bottom of a blanket, sewing it to the top, and thinking yo have a bigger blanket. Yep, I think this little ritual ought to  be a thing of the past.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Hectic Sunday, sigh man.

Got to bed at half-past Many a..m., fake extra hour of sleep man.

Had Many (2+2) laundry loads because of Mrs. T-B.'s sartorial proclivity* last week, sigh man.

*who wears Many (2x2x2x2 + 2+2) pairs of pants in ONE WEEK, huh man?

Also had ironing, Thread Laundress we man.

Then had to run two outside errands, sigh man.

Had to do all usual Sunday prep, sigh man.

Got a near-nap (closed eyes without zzz) for under an hour, no zzz man.

Must take T-B.-mobile to dealer at o'dark-Many because of leaking water pump, must fix man.

All this amidst near-inability to pull on or especially pull off long pants because of our back and stinking chilly autumn weather, ouch and grrrrr man.

And we can't figure out why the neighborhood oak trees have dropped seemingly Many,000,000 extra acorns this year in comparison with any previous year, weird autumn man.

Making plans for the Thanksgiving week. Boy number 2 who lives in Texas wants to take the Tornado for that week. We are thinking of bringing them to him so the Jedi can have a sleep over too and not know mommy is in a hotel room for the night to rescue big brother should the need arise. Then we will leave the Tornado there from Sunday to to Wednesday with big brother. No way will the Jedi last more than a night without mommy.  Boy #2 will be bringing her back when they come for TG. I think she will like that as she really misses her big brother #2.

Sleep?

What is this 'sleep' of which you make talk of please? I believe I used to know but I seem to have forgotten how it goes.....until it's time to snooze the alarm of course.

In 'other news' it never rains but it pours, my poor sister nearly died from 11(or possibly 12, arithmetic is not the doctors strong point apparently) blood clots in her lungs(pulimary embolisms-not fun I had one 17 years since, obviously my sister had to go 10, or 11 better) at the weekend. Thankfully she's survived, they rushed her to hospital & saved her life.

Please can everything for everyone I know just get a whole bit better for a while-that would be preferable thanks.

I'm so happy to hear she is ok.  Pulmonary embolisms are no joke.

I just picked up another shift, so I'm working a minimum of 60 hours this week. Thankfully, it is 2 24 hour shifts and a 12. We got a new guy and I think it is his driving week, so I'm hoping I have to do no driving at all tomorrow.
