Nope. But we live almost in the 'burbs (I mean, our address says 'San Diego', but we're not in the San Diego school district and I can't vote on city of San Diego stuff), and this is the first time since I moved out here that I've even had decorations up (there were almost no trick or treaters last year when it was just me and no decorations were up, and I think PRG would like to see kids in costume, so we put some stuff on the door and some fake spiderwebs on the stairway leading up to our place.

 

Also, though I've been out more since PRG arrived, we still don't get out a lot.

Meanwhile in Minnesota, we're north of nowhere.

 

We're flooding up here worse than spring. It is the worst fall flooding on record. And it is set to freeze soon. 

 

Then, the spring floods will come on top of it.

 

I just wish the ditches would freeze completely solid through soon. Otherwise if you slide off the road, your car gets totally submerged in freezing cold water.

Husband and I are flying to the UK tonight to see his parents. Super excited to be going but also super nervous. I don't like plane travel with other people and I just had my GP confirm my first pregnancy. Only about 7 weeks along, but I started feeling sick at the beginning of the week and its probably not going to let up. I've eaten soup, cereal, and saltines for the last 48 hours. Been very uncomfortable this week.

Congratulations! Plane travel when you are pregnant can be....interesting. Make sure you have a bag to throw up in.

Thank you! I think that is the part I'm most nervous about. I have ginger candies to suck on. My husbands put a few extra plastic bags in my purse. Today has been better than yesterday which is a good sign so far.
