Uff da, it is a well and true blizzard. Highways are closed. The wind is getting up to 60+mph. I was working in a city today, and we were absolutely slammed with calls. 

 

Then I go to drive to my hotel on the somewhat closed highway and I break off my windshield wiper. 

 

What a day.

We attended all Many GSs & ESs on our itinerary, whee man.

The take, see man:

  -- mint-condition Mossimo blouse for Mrs. T-B. = $2, steal man

  -- Many (2+1) Many-packs ([2x2x2+2)-packs party-cups = half a buck, steal man

  -- shirt & sleep-pants for Mini-B. = $2, OK man

  -- 2 warshcloths; antique book about Herbert Hoover's hometown* = $Many ($2+2), steal man

Total = $Many-&-a-half ($2x2x2 + half a buck)

How we spent our Saturday, see man:

 

Awoke at o'dark-Many, not optimal man.

 

Took Mini-B. on promised "bachelor mystery excursion," no chicas except rubias allowed man.

Visited 2 GSs & an ES, Mini-B. nonobjectional wee man.

 

Took T-B.-mobile to shop for oil-change, of great interest to Mini-B. wee man.

 

Visited POTS office, This Will All Be Mini-B.'s Someday man.

Taught Mini-B. how to center a heading on a regular typewriter, fascinated wee man.

Ogled many rubias, mandatory bachelor activity man.

 

Lunched at McDonald's, Happy Meal + half of one of Daddy's Many (2+2+2) hamburgers for Mini-B. wee man.

Returned to casa, satisfied we & wee man.

 

Immediately excursioned on rest of GS/ES itinerary, visited all man.

Found a One-Cent-Less-than-One-Buck Cents store, shop for Mrs. T-B. she man.

Unloaded purchases and immediately lawn-mowed, straight through no stops man.

Showered and immediately* went on grocery safari to Aldi and elsewhere, also gas Mrs.-T-B.-mobile man.

     *after half-of-half an hour's search for either set of Mrs. T-B.'s keys, grrrrr man

Returned exhausted, unloaded purchases, ate quick din-din, fed/shot demanding cat, blew upstairs man.

Read story from Many-year-old ([2x2x2x2x2x2 +2+1]-year-old) Jack & Jill magazine to Mini-B., read we to wee man.

 

At bedtime, Mini-B. said, "Daddy, we had a lot of fun today," agree with wee man we man.

 

Subdued 2 usual Saturday laundry loads, Thread Laundress we man.

Dished and must de-dish the warsher, pending man.

 

No apparent need to leave the casa on Sun., none apparent man.
