05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Had repeat caucus with back-neurologist on Fri., re-see MD we man.

Got pig-stuck for electromyogram test, can't drink beer for Many hours or spring a leak man.

Absolutely no nerve damage, no man.

Very obvious irritation/inflammation of LMany nerve root, what we knew before seeing him grrrr man.

 

Doc recommends another injection of the sort that we had on Aug. 1, Groundhog Day man.

However, this time, he will not shoot the LMany/LMany & LMany/LMany roots, no man.

Instead, he will shoot the LMany/LMany & LMany/LMany roots, should have done in first place man.

So, another $Many,000 and another day lost by us, sigh man.

Years ago I had  Pekes. They're great. 

One of them, Spanky, was the best dog ever. 

I was just learning about Pekingnese from a Redcoat TV show. They are one of the oldest breeds of dogs. I struggle to understand dog breeds & how a tiny dog can be so related to wolves. Very interesting.
