Not going to bother catching up with this thread, being gone for the last 9 days. Had a nice visit to the French Alps where my sister and children live and work. My niece got married to a decent Aussie chap. Had to be the best/most fun wedding I ever attended. The young un's today know how to have fun. My one brother talked my other brother and I into dressing up as lederhosen wearing dorks. This is the result. First time in a pork pie hat. Y'all will have to guess which one is me.

PETA is shutting down so many farm groups because ppl sell and buy animals. I guess PETA wants us to just kill the animals instead of rehoming them.

Killing animals is what Peta does.  I don't know how reliable the statistic is, but something like 84% of the animals they take, they euthanize.

Just made it back to the casa* before the skies opened, thunderboomers man.

Never seen such a deluge, at least since last rainstorm man.

Mrs. T-B. temporarily hindered from returning from client appointment, in-flooded she man.

We later get call from utterly panicked Mrs. T-B., out-freaking she man.

"I almost drove into a flooded underpass and had to back out of it!" quavered she man.

We replied, "We have the rubias on speed-dial, so don't worry about floods, no man," si man.

Mrs. T-B. made it back anyway, out-freaking she man.

Mini-B. retrieved from skool without incident, back wee man.

No skool or work today, POTS sales continue by phone regardless man.

Great many souls stranded for half of Thurs. by/in/near flooded roadways, fortunate we man.

Got to see POTS helicopter perform high-water rescues on local TV, great advertising man.

Uggghhh now big town nearby has flooded. We couldn't go to the oldest's swim lesson this morning because the roads were closed and people keep trying to drive through them and get stuck. The Troll's soccer was cancelled this morning too.

 

I got back from the longest I've been away from the littles (Sunday-Friday). The Tank didn't recognize me when I tried to pick him up at daycare.
