This weekend recounted through benadryl:

 

Rented a rug doctor: cleaned cars and carpets in house

 

Went out to a friend's field, got rocks, and built a fire pit.  Made marshmallows in between spells of rain

 

Cleaned out fridge and giant chest freezer, defrosted said freezer.  It is now so empty.

 

Tried to work out, but arms jello.

 

Made bread and about 80000 pancakes for freezing

So, my teeth and ex-husband's are terrible. We both had root canals before 20.  Daughter is almost 11. 3 years in dental appliances. She had a check up this month by the regular dentist. Still no cavities.  I think the key is no juice or soda, and proper brushing. I wish my parents had enforced that for me.

Never had a cavity as a kid.  Did drink juice and soda but had to brush teeth regularly.  Had first cavity as teenager and then 7 as an adult because rye and coke.  Lol

Wooden toilet seats are more comfortable, but I hate how the paint on the underside of the seat gets stained after a while. I bought a plastic one with a nightlight this time.

 

 

Also, I have a sore throat. I'm trying to resist the urge to go get snacks.

I took the dog back to the vet today. She's been dragging  her face across the carpet, across the furniture, in fact against any surface. She may need more teeth out, the poor thing. We are trying her on some pain relief for ten days, if she improves, and then after that length of time she starts up again, we will have to do x-rays and maybe another extraction.

 

I am off to the blessed laundromat tomorrow.  I cannot remember the last time I went to one of those. Wednesday I am off in search of new machines.

 

Today is my birthday. Himself used very good sense and has given me a pair of proper wellies, and the winter socks to go in them. Practical gift, my favorite type.

There should be some Labor Day weekend sales going on at Lowes, HD, Best Buy, etc. Also, check out an appliance store that may have scratch and dent discounts on new machines if it doesn't bother you that they're not "perfect".
