A recomp is hard so thats why people cut and bulk.  Knowing your body's TDEE or total daily energy expenditure is very much trial and error.

Normal gym goer cardio is not effective at burning calories or fat. It is good for circulation  improvmemt  it can be good if you do it at a good intensity ir have resistance or for a long period.

It seems you want me to stop being a couch potato and start counting calories.

But I'll never join the dark side!

I have my work physical today.

It is at the regular doctor's office. It says no kids, but I'm going to have to bring along the oldest one (who is the height of an adult, so I'm assuming this won't be a problem). Hopefully it'll be fine if she just sits in the main waiting room and plays with her phone or whatever.

I ordered duck egg cartons. They are for turkey and geese. Too big for my duck eggs. Now to try and find more. The problem I'm having is most are too small. I need ones for these huge eggs my Pekin is laying.

Yeah, I don't doubt that. I got huge all 3 times. Although it did go away enough for my sake about 4 years post baby with the first. I'm only 18 months out, I need to cut myself some slack.  I'm an apple body shape, so that doesn't help either. I've got to stop looking at the perfect women who snap right back to a size 2 and realize it isn't me.

So, with 138, are you just eating meat or eggs with every meal? I'm dairy and soy free. I was thinking nuts would be a good supplement, but I see the amount I'd normally eat in a day (1/4 cup) isn't very much at all.  I need to start logging again, but I suspect I'm probably getting less than half that amount.

I do eat lots of yogurt and some cottage cheese.  But yes egg whites, lean ground Turkey, lean ground beef, top sirloin and chicken breast.  Thighs are more flavorful and if you cut carbs you can add more.  Peas and any high protein veggies should be your go to.  Cauliflower will be your staple veggie instead of potatoes or rice.  Pea protein powder will be your supplement with no soy or whey.

Yikes - what happened ? You been fishing, hunting, or remodel a room ? Them's the fun man-stuff to talk about - what's been going on ? OK - for today's homework assignment - write a 2 paragraph, 500 word treatise on the last outing you did, taking just the daughters without-whats-her-face ... I await to read !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

So....it’s official now....my father likes my husband more than he does me....they are going on a backpacking/camping/fishing trip to Colorado in July.

The last time my father wanted me to go camping/fishing/backpacking with him was 1979 (family trip my mother and sister went too....I was 8 years old)

Sometimes, 'girls' are not fun, in the great-outdoors .
