Hi, this is for NYC filers from MANHATTAN (not Queens or Brooklyn; as for queens the process seems to go really fast and people filing this year already got their interviews).

Anyone who filed in 2018 got interview notices? It's been a year since my PD (June/July 2018) and I've been ready to schedule for interview since August 2018.  This wait is killing me. Anyone has any insights why it's taking so long--the longest in the country right now. Any information on if this will keep gettting worse? I'm really worried and anxious about this thing.

Hi there,

I am Oct 2017 filer (31st) and I just got my interview scheduled yesterday - it took a little bit more than 19 months...It is a waiting game, nerve breaking, but I believe they are swamped. You interview will come, you just have to be patient like I have been...

Hope this helps!
