Therr are folks that receive such updates without actually doing anything..or sending in anything..so it's kind of hard to say for sure if it was because of the address update! Also folks that send in RFE response or more evidence gets the update as well! So did you just respond to any RFE?

Oh! My lawyer has told the same - probably changing the address, and I did not get any RFE. I just went across VAWA , part 11 and have seen - the same got the Aquila - do n ot remember the exactly nick-name.

Yeah that's how it is! Also if they get feedback from some security checks they request, that might have triggered the update as well! But sit tight its all good..at least they are looking at your file!

Hello! Could you please give me an idea - what does that mean? They got my case June 2018. Have changed my address January 2019. Maybe it was about changing the address?

On April 2, 2019, we received your correspondence for Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant, Receipt Number____________. We are reviewing your correspondence, and will mail you a notice if we need something from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I still receive message saying the last time USCIS took action on my case was August 13, 2018. Dwl. That was when I receive RFE

Wow! This is coming from someone who already has his Greencard! So folks don't get overly worried when USCIS updates get erratic! Sometimes it doesn't mean an actual action was taken..thanks for the info @Trizzle😊👍

I get it almost every 2 weeks or basically every 2 weeks. Every time I see it I laugh. When I see some of our members posting about certain messages they shouldn’t worry a lot because i don’t think it’s serious but most likely computer generated messages.

@FridayGirl@69 and @Stillwinning!!!😊 plus other members I’m still waiting to see you guys receive your interview notices.  I know it’s stressing and seems like a long time but remember the longest wait is already over which was your I-360 approval notices. Believe me the hardest part is already over and the easiest part is the interview. So just hang on a bit more because your cases are processed on a 1st come first serve basis and to cheer you up, I’m sure it’s not in the back of the line anymore.  It moves up closer to the front everyday.

Thanks everybody

Recently I found a very interesting case. A person was denied VAWA case for bona fide marriage, I believe this person submitted a lot of joint documents, but his VAWA application still got denied for bona fide marriage. Can someone tell me why?
