Hi guys, is it possible to get your I-360  approve  within 5 months? Thanks

We've seen such rarity in the past! However general processing times have changed! We're waiting for confirmation from a member here I think @bengolo or so who is suggesting that the petition received in Jan 2019 already got a C31 approval update! Exciting!😊

Hi, so today I also got a notice saying my i-765 is transferred to another office.

My case is approved in april so I already have C31 work permit and that 765 was filed last year when my previous one was expiring soon.

I want my 485 to be transferred not 765 lol

but it is good to know that they are touching my file and do something.

The weird thing is that 765 starts with MSC which was sent to NBC by my attorney's mistake.

It is weird they never said anything about it till now.

Is your 765 also filed long time ago? Or was it sent to NBC not to Vermont?

Good thing you have the C31..the EAD renewal was supposed to be sent to Vermont not Missouri! But obviously it's been re-directed! As for your i485 you may get the transfer update..some folks don't get any update..(I got mines) they just go straight to receiving the courtesy letter, and interview letter.. But sit tight and be on the look out..it may not apply to you!😊👍

Yes it happen to me, Renewal mistakenly was sent to NBC on August 2018, and the transfer was made to Vermont on April 2019, EAD was mailed and in hand on May 2019...  9 months after, and I also did a congress office inquired to expedite otherwise would've taking longer.

Wait, is somebody here from Missouri too? I live in IL. My attorney is from STL, Missouri. It'd be nice to know someone who is from the same area.

Oh dear..I hope you find someone who's from same location as you..but in this context I meant NBC (National Benefits Center) located at Missouri. That's were most applications that require an interview are prepared especially i485! It's the reason why we have receipts with MSC numbers...Missouri Service Center!👍

You will obtain the work permit just after your Vawa approval, because your wife is a green card holder or  when a visa number becomes available for you then you can file  form I485 and I765 as well, plus other documents.

Hello everyone. Can anyone suggest what should I do in my case:

My VAWA was approved, I got the interview notice when my visa priority was current (ex husband was LPR), however by the time my actual interview date came my visa priority date retrogressed. So during my interview my visa priority date was not current. Interview took like 15 minutes in total, officer was very pleasant, my lawyer was present, officer informed me since my priority date was not current he would send my case back to NBC, and once my priority date became current I would get my result. Since then nothing. My lawyer said that she inquired about my case to NBC, but still no response from them. What should I do? Just wait? More than 1 year passed since the interview. My visa priority date has been current for almost a year. I wanted to make an info pass appointment but according to my google searches Chicago locations do not conduct info pass appointments anymore?

@sandranj Do you have any idea what can I do now? My first pro-bono changed her job so my case was transferred to another pro-bono lawyer who does not seem to know much, I guess she is a new graduate.

@sandranj @Stillwinning!!!😊 Hello house,i have few questions to ask about my vawa case and I need to explain everything from the beginning so that you all can understand the content of my message ....

1 : I filed for i130,i485 and i765 with my USA citizen wife ,but along the line she started hitting me and slapping me..she started abusing me physically and emotionally...I love her but she’s just too abusive in all ways ..so I had to get police report for the day she punched me..and also medical report for another she threw phone and charger at me after selling my laptop,I managed to get my work permit cause she refused to provide the request for evidence the asked for ....then when they sent our interview letter she had already even moved out of the room we both living, cause she told me she wants to make sure I get deported by not showing up at the interview...so I went to the interview myself without our lawyer that is representing our case ...after I told the officer how my wife use to abuse me and also showing her lots of evidences like police report, psychological evaluation and medical report ,the interviewer still insisted that she will deny my i485,I begged and begged her but she said my wife has to be at the interview with me cause she was the one that filed for me...so I was just hopeless and move on with my life that life goes on and there is nothin new anymore in this world ...so I was expecting denial letter ,but to my greatest surprise they hold my case and sent the letter to my lawyer in charge of my case ...before holding my case ...they sent me rfe to send my vawa confirmation receipt to them that I truly filed for vawa ...I filed the vawa a week before my interview ..so I was waiting for the receipt of my vawa so I could send to them so they don’t deny my i485...fortunately I received the receipt and sent to them and they transferred my i485 to Vermont ...but they sent the letter to my former lawyer who was in charge of my i130,i765 and i485,I have a new lawyer now for my vawa petition...

2: so my main question is that my i485 has been successfully transferred to Vermont and the receipt number for my i485 is still the same that starts with MSC...I hope there is nothing wrong with that receipt number ,or is it gonna still change to EAC,cause I think any application that is with Vermont always starts with EAC...

3: and lastly how do I be sure that my I485 letters will now be sent to my new lawyer that files the vawa...I Dnt want my letter to go to the previous

3: and lastly how do I be sure that my I485 letters will now be sent to my new lawyer that files the vawa...I Dnt want my letter to go to the previous lawyer again ...cause I Dnt want to miss my interview letter in the future so I need to be proactive about that ...I Dnt intent changing lawyer it’s because of mix up but that my lawyer is such an evil man that Dnt care about someone’s life ..I told him to represent me for the vawa he said he can’t represent me that is against the ethics of the law..I know he is lying cause have seen many people on here that used same lawyer for vawa and i130...I Dnt just know why we have 95 percent of evil people in this world, same thing with those evil landlords too ,once they get to know you are receiving immigration mails they will want to frustrate you out of the house so that you can having mix up in your address in receiving letters ,cause changing of address too many times can create problems with uscis ,now the new place I just moved into now ,the senseless lady had to tell me that she wants to move out to her brothers house that’s she can’t renew the lease ,I’m like I haven’t even spent up to 4 months here ...now I have to change my address again with uscis ...I’m just so pissed off with sad and unhappy people in this country they will always wanna inconvenience your happiness but God is greater than them...I’m like she knew she gonna move in 4 months time and She never told me before I moved in...smh...she just used me to balance up herself ....if she had told me she will not renew the lease I wouldn’t have even moved in there ...she said they increased the rent with 150$ but that’s not enough a tangible reason to leave cause I even offered to add more to my rent ...but they are just always nasty and stupid ...I would have even gotten an apartment but they told me too wait till December ...people just always wanna make you sad and unhappy like them ....

4: so my Main purpose of writing the house is to ask is after Vermont transferring my i485 to my local office after have been approved hopefully, will my local office not again send my interview letter to my former lawyer or my current lawyer who is representing me before on my i485....I want to navigate that complexity...I Dnt want my interview letter be missing along the line ...that’s the disadvantages of changing of addresses too much and changing of lawyers....so can you give me your advise...maybe I should write Vermont and notarize it that my new lawyer will also be representing me on the I 485 and fill another g28 form for my new lawyer and also send the copy of my i485 receipt to back it up that my new lawyer representing my vawa will also be representing my i485 so there will be no mixed up and also send notarized letter to NBC and my local office with G28 that I have a new lawyer that is representing my vawa and i485..cause my new lawyer only filed for vawa alone...I Dnt want any mix up in the future so I have to be proactive and don’t let all these evil people evil doing affects my case....I will be looking forward to hear back from y’all
