Hello people. I want to congrats all of you guys who got approved 🎉🎉

It really makes me happy everyday when i see new approvals.

i work almost everyday 10-11 hours long. i usually don t have time to even rest. But i am a silent reader. I read most of them.

I got another update on my case today under I-765 is saying that " New card is being produced "

And it says they will mail it to me.

But i got my work authorization under c31 category on May 30,  2019 from i-360 .

It kind of confuses me what kind of card is this? I would be greatly appreciated for any input.

I really want to thank all of you guys for the support you give people.

Hi, so today I also got a notice saying my i-765 is transferred to another office.

My case is approved in april so I already have C31 work permit and that 765 was filed last year when my previous one was expiring soon.

I want my 485 to be transferred not 765 lol

but it is good to know that they are touching my file and do something.

The weird thing is that 765 starts with MSC which was sent to NBC by my attorney's mistake.

It is weird they never said anything about it till now.

Is your 765 also filed long time ago? Or was it sent to NBC not to Vermont?

Hi folks, I was wondering if you guys have the same question like me. When I used old USCIS website (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/logoff.do) to check my i485 status, it indicated “At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case.” When I used new website (https://myaccount.uscis.gov/), it indicated the normal details: “we received your case”. Then I called USCIS line to check my status, I got the same response with the first one (cannot find your information). I will talk to my attorney on tomorrow and let them call to the USCIS to check it. But if you guys have some opinions, please tell me. Thanks a lot!!

Mine has been with such since Jan still waiting on the interview,  so nothing to worry

Hi everyone,

If anyone else who also lives in NYC, NY area share their experiences and timelines regarding the duration from the time your vawa is approved till you get the GC? How long is this gap? Many thanks!

I filed a marriage petition with my ex husband in 2016 and then in June 2017 VAWA. It got approved in October 2018. I waited 16 months for VAWA approval. I never got any notices that my case was transferred or a courtesy letter to redo medical again. My old I485 was held in abeyance with the local office since my ex and I broke up before the interview. My attorney filed an address change online so I guess USCIS didn’t have the correct address, but I wonder where the mail is going to anyway because my prima facie and approval all went to my attorneys office. If anyone knows anything about where an old I485 gets notices after filing VAWA sent to please let me know.

~~One post edited and a few that quoted to remove attachment with personal information~~

Folks, this is an opportunity for a reminder -- the most efficient way to get a case number removed (or for any other action) is to hit the ´´report post´´ button at top right of the relevant post.  In this way, the first Moderator to see the report can act on it, and you´re not relying on a sole Moderator happening to read a thread or a personal message.  I happen to be in Ecuador with erratic Internet access, so I´m happy to see that action was taken (someone else happened to report the post).

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
