hi, guys, when will I expect to receive prima facie after filling my I-360 for vawa. thanks.

While there is no stipulated time for that, you can expect to receive it 2-4weeks after filing! I got mine 2weeks after! Others might tell you different for the reason stated above! No stipulated time! There are folks who have been waiting to receive theirs for the longest..and others simply request it! Goodluck!👍

USCIS is all over the place, not everyone receives notifications, Courtesy Letter, updates, etc... as long as you have your EAD to continue renewing it until you get your final approval!

you can make an infopass to ask about your case or call Vawa unit, you just leave a message, they will call you back within an 1 week. The number is in your application

1 802)527-4888

The Vawa Unit Phone number is just for Attorney on file, they will not give information to any other person that calls and leaves a messages.

Hey there.. RFE responses take anywhere between 30 and 90 days! And in some cases longer! When your i360 is approved, your i485 will be transferred to your local office to join the queue for AOS interview! However long it takes for you to move up the line is how fast your interview will be scheduled!

@sandranjthank you for the response about the PO Box.

I also have a question to anybody who knows about the info I am asking.  What are the things we can benefit from having prima facie? Because I was just denied of food stamps using the prima facie.

Second question, can I divorce my abusive husband while pending VAWA approval? I just want to cut all ties with him and start fresh with my life and my kids.

Thanks in advance for the reply.

You can divorce your husband while waiting for your VAWA verdict! 😊 as for prima facie fuss..I'm not too sure as I've not really used any of it's benefits ever! But I've read here a lot of folks benefit greatly from it! Including food stamps, housing, medicaid (I believe) and lots more..you can research on all the benefits of prima facie online..but I believe most of the offices are not familiar with the document that's mostly the reason for denial of services! Some of the benefits are written on the documents i guess...I haven't looked at mines twice..LOL..not so familiar with that document!

Some state don't have much knowledge of the Prima Facie benefits, you may ask for a hearing to appeal the denial  you are entitle or can received public benefits, the person handling your case don't know. Prima Facie you can applied for Medicaid, Food Stamp, Housing, and  FAFSA to go college....
