You might wanna read this...

Effective November 1, 2018, the I-693medical report will be valid for two years from the date of submission to USCIS (and not one year as it is currently). At the same time, USCIS are shortening the I-693 validity period to 60 days from the date the Civil Surgeon signs the I-693 medical exam (it used to be one year).Oct 18, 2018

No you are confuse you need to submit Form I-693 signed by a civil surgeon no more than 60 days before filing  application for an immigration benefit. And the Form I-693 would remain valid for a two-year period following the date the civil surgeon signed it...  (Meaning you cannot submitted your signed medicals I-693 before 60 days of your application date for example:  if you are Adjusting status and sent your application on  November 1, 2018 your signed I-693 cannot be from January 2018 it was signed more than 60 days )

The 60 days references how far in advance you can get medical completed prior to filing the I-485 or bringing it to your interview. It used to be a year. The I-693 is now valid two years from when submitted instead of one.

I'll confirm from an attorney! But really the USCIS language says...  👍😊

"USCIS are shortening the I-693 validity period to 60 days from the date the Civil Surgeon signs the I-693 medical exam" (it used to be one year).Oct 18, 2018

Yes that is what I said. Previously since appts were a challenge to get. USCIS would accept an I-693 that was less than a year old. Now they no longer accept it more than 60 days old.

No Problem, the use of valid and validity in the policy language is what confused you and is a common mistake in understanding USCIS policy.

Hello everyone,

I am a little bit confused concerning i693 form. I applied for i484 in 2017, could not submit my application form together with my medical report. A few weeks later, my medical report was ready and was waiting for an RFE to send it to USCIS. Unfortunately, the whole process took longer time than I expected and that my medical report expired, did not receive any RFE only received a courtesy letter after my VAWA approval.

A few weeks a go, I prepared another medical report waiting for an interview. According to the I693 update, after 60 days, then my report would be invalid as well if not submitted to USCIS.

So far have paid close to $400 for each medical report. Would someone please assist me if possible to submit my medical report without getting an RFE, because it seems like I might end up paying another $400 for a new report. Can not afford anymore. Please assist

Something similar in my case.

Just go back to the Dr who signed it so he can re-do it again free of charge. Did you keep a copy of your original medical?

If your Courtesy Letter asks for your medical, you must submit it. I got CL 3/13/19 but on 5/29/19 USCIS Requested my I693/medical so

i sent it on 6/12/19 since then I have been waiting for Interview Notice
