Hello ladies ,

I've received an update on my case by email stating this :  "" Correspondence Was Received And USCIS Is Reviewing It". What does it mean ? I'm a little bit stressed and I just received my ead and starting working already. I have my 2nd prima facie extension till December which was sent to me before the expiration of the first one. My priority date is April 2018.

Hi, is your EAD under C09?

I know it is stressful the wait time but the beauty is that 90% of the applications get approved!!!

As long we have enough evidence/proof and all documents in hand to submit

Let’s stay strong and positive!!!

90% is a very good approval rate! A lot of sources online say it is extremely difficult to get your vawa approved - but what I see here and hear from other people, most people do get approved if they have some relevant evidence

When you're dealing with dangerous people..there's no guarantee of a "NEXT TIME" she mentioned the cops came around but couldn't pin anything on her abusive spouse! Many folks have been killed and the killer walks just like that..they can claim it was done in self defence with the help of a seasoned criminal attorney! If she values her life and is not in anyway handcuffed or tied down in the apartment..the best thing is to run to safety..she's not a tree planted in a spot..she can move! A word is always enough for the wise as the saying goes!

True, I have already told her to go to the shelter.

Hello again. My husband pushed me and slapped me on my arm and grabbed my laptop from me and I asked me when I am going to pack and leave. I said why are you hitting me then he turned around and started to record crazy things on his phone saying I’m pushing him and abusing him. Omg, I couldn’t believe he did that. I called the cops and told them  what he did to me but they said there is no physical evidence and they cannot do anything. They left just like that. And I’m left feeling like a lost child. Help please.

Hey guys, got a question.
I was about to send my EAD+AP Extension application to Vermont today because I have pending I360 + I485... but just got an update on my I485 online that Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview. So, is that standard? Should I stress out? Will I be able to request to hold my I485 at the interview without having an attorney with me ? Also I actually just moved to CA from FL and I sent an address update to USCIS like 10 days ago but still didn't get a letter stating that they got it, so I am not even sure where they will schedule my Interview. What do you all think? Thank you :)

Send it to Vermont... The same thing happened to me. Be ready to show poof of your pending VAWA case, write a letter requesting to change your address with the VSC, and take one with you to the interview. I was alone and did not have an attorney with me. The  USCIS Officer told me that my I485 will remain pending until i have my I360 approved and a few days later i received my EAD Extension.  Also, make sure that your Medical I693 Form is still valid, otherwise you need to bring a new one to the interview.

So, no need to be afraid sending my EAD extension now?
Do I need to have a letter from my attorney asking to hold I485 or I should just ask an officer at the interview while our conversation?
Also how do I make sure about medical I693? I got mine DS-3025 in Ukraine June 2018, it is valid till 10/31/2020....is DS-3025 the same thing with I693 or not?
