I’m still waiting for my attorney to file i485 and i765 for both me and my child:(,  she told me she wouldn’t be available till mid August which is long waiting...

May I ask if I can file those documents myself and how?  Do I need to pay any fee? Waiting is way too anxious.   And one more question, can I extend EAD under c031? Or have to apply EAD under c09 ? I already see I am not receiving GC interview before it expires next March:(.

OMG!!! 😕 This is similar to what I went through with my own attorney! When I got my RFE response/evidence together, then she had to go on a vacation!😏 it was really a trying time for me! I didn't have time to waste and all..but I just had to wait for her to return but I was so angry!!! 😠 anyway since she is the attorney/representative on file I doubt you can do that yourself ( not 100% sure) when was your vawa approved again?  I really hope you can do it yourself especially since your VAWA is approved! It's sad that you'll waste a couple of months waiting for your lawyers return! Time is of the essence!!! Let's hear from Sandra or anyone else who has an idea what you can do in this situation!😏

That’s so messed up, similar situation happen to me when I got my RFE I had To submit the RFE and it toke me a while to gather all the required documents. And after I got them it took a month and a few days for my lawyer to submit them to the embassy and I was so angry and disappointed, I had the feeling that they do t wanna do there job and represent me and so far my experience is more that disappointing. Hope that everything with your case will move forward and that obstacle that you are having will be a minor one.

Wow! If only they can put same energy they use in brilliantly extorting money from gullible and vulnerable folks into updating themselves on the constantly changing immigration laws and actually become dedicated to their clients..then maybe just maybe..it might be worth it! SMH!😕
