I applied March 2017 didn't hear anything until November 2018 when I received an RFE..my lawyer delayed me as I had my RFE ready..but she travelled and finally it was sent out in Jan 2019 and approved March! But hey not everyone gets RFE..just incase you're anticipating one..relax God is in control!🙏RFE doesn't mean God isn't in control though..😂😂 it just delays..never DENIED!

Amen to that. Now you’re waiting for your interview? It’s sad that the process that used to take 6-8 months is now 2yrs. I’m praying for no RFE notifications and a speedy approval. The main focus is just working and filing for divorce once I’m able to. God bless you and everyone for the constant support and speedy responses. We’re all winners in Gods name.

You filed too early, they are going to send it back. You can only file for renewal as early as 120 days before it expires.

Sorry but this information is incorrect.  You can file for a renewal EAD less than 180 days before your original EAD expires, Not 120 days.

Her EAD renewal will not be rejected I also file my EAD renewal 5 months prior to expiration date and I receive my receipt and my 6 months extension.

Here is the link from Uscis about I-765 renewals information: https://www.uscis.gov/greencard/employment-authorization-document

That's quite interesting, I just hit 28 months waiting for my vawa approval. Praying 🙏 for everyone.

Thanks for the update

Hey Aquila, you are out of processing time, 28 months of wait is a lot, this mean you file around February 2017, You can Raise a service requested.... since the earliest date to Raise service request is July 2017. Here is the link https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayONPTForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=onpt

You can also ask your congressman/ women to help you inquired on your behalf of your case here is the link to find your congress person: https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative   Hope your hear soon.

Does any one know how long it is currently taking for EAD and AP? I don’t know if vawa applicants check on Vermont center or national...

Is it better if you ask for both together (same card) or separately?

thanks,

Hi guys ! I am super frustrated with my Vawa case :

I filled out my I-360 and I-485 in August 19,2016.. almost 3 years ago .. then in December ,2018 i received an update that Uscis is reviewing my correspodence . Today

i receive an email saying:  we are still reviewing your case and no updates at this time, we last took action on april 10,2019.

I hope will be good news , i have not asked any RFE .

My lawyer said that is nothing we can do , we have to wait.😭😭 I contacted the ombusman and they said can’t help me because are overload with other cases.

Does anyone experice such a long wait ?

Wow! This is the 2nd time I've heard of such a crazy wait! I can only imagine how you feel...there's another person here too from 2016..I really don't know why USCIS takes such an incredibly long time to process some cases! You are wayyyy past processing times..did you ask congressperson? Most folks do..one reason I've seen here that accounts for long waits like this is mostly security checks..don't know if perhaps that's the case with you...sorry about the wait..at least you got correspondence..you'll definitely hear something positive soon🙏 sending prayers your way!

Stillwinning- thank you for your feedback , i  heard something like security checks takes a long time , anyway i have nothing else just to wait .

Hopefully i will get the aproval soon. The ones that experience such a long wait , still have to go to the interview for GC?
