I never asked them abt my vawa becos am not out of processing time for that.... i called USCIS few days ago, spoke with a white lady.. she was the one that help me submit a SR.....

Hey dont take way too long to file tho cause its a loooong wait to approval. All the best️.

Won’t take long . Vawa is complicated, so I need an attorney’s assistance . And am putting my paperwork together. Last thing I want is an RFE

Want to suggest you to apply for I-485 / I-765 C9 category, you will received EAD (work permit) and you can work until your VAWA case gets adjudicated. You can sent any new evidence to Vermont if you have the blue paper or with a copy of your I-360 receipt along with Divorce and name change information... Regarding Public benefits I work and I received Food stamps, medicaid you can still received benefits even if you have an income, just have to meet the public assistant income guidance to get approve for it.

Great. Thank you for the info. I'll do that.

Love you guys!

Because u filed VAWA, you cannot call and request anything on USCIS Line. They will process the request and send u a letter telling you to write to Vermont VAWA department about EAD expedite.

I now understand what you are saying .... well let me see what is the response then I would have to approach Congress man or woman,... my Receipt with 180days extension has expired over 2weeks now.... I dont understand USCIS no more.....

Hi everyone. I’m a June 2018 filer.

I received my EAD in September 2018. It expires in 3 months, when do I file for renewal? I also submitted a change of address and did not receive any confirmation. No RFE or communication whatsoever on my case.

when should I file for EAD renewal and what is the current timeline for replacement work permit cards?

thank you!!

You can file for renewal now. It has been taking 4-6 months to get new card, but you will receive a 6 month extension letter for your work card.
