@Stillwinning!!!😊 funny you there. I can imagine, my spouse that left me stranded calling me to buy pizza and still keeps threatening, well all I did was to ignore. Am done been emotionally unbalanced🙅🏽‍♀️

Also it might help to severe all communications with this crazy lady! I see she really gets to you and makes you anxious and very worried! Truth is you do not need her for anything..you have filed VAWA..nothing she does now matters..you'll take care of things by yourself from this point forward! Tell her GIRL BYE!👋😏

Want to suggest you to apply for I-485 / I-765 C9 category, you will received EAD (work permit) and you can work until your VAWA case gets adjudicated. You can sent any new evidence to Vermont if you have the blue paper or with a copy of your I-360 receipt along with Divorce and name change information... Regarding Public benefits I work and I received Food stamps, medicaid you can still received benefits even if you have an income, just have to meet the public assistant income guidance to get approve for it.

I’ve not filed vawa yet. I just attended my first mental evaluations yesterday. I plan to file August

@Stillwinning!!!😊 hello sweety , I got this message from USCIS yesterday and today... the last 2 updates came almost same time...... I actually called dem few days ago to tell them my 6 months EAD extension has expired for over 2weeks now... so the USCIS  lady helped me to submit a SR....

Yeah it's typical of them to update you on actions taken on your case..I've gotten such updates previously on my case when I make enquiries! Hopefully they do as you desire..but it's pretty normal..the updates I mean! It's time to see what's next!

Oh ok thanks sweety.... was wondering when they said " we sent a response to your resquest to expidite ur case... and I didnt get any requests and under the same minutes they said "your request to expidite ur case had been completed....got me wondering.. lol. USCIS and their ways..

Because u filed VAWA, you cannot call and request anything on USCIS Line. They will process the request and send u a letter telling you to write to Vermont VAWA department about EAD expedite.
