Hi Guys,

I have one question, I think so 6/13/2019 request is about police clearance, I already ready about that . But my FBI police clearance date is 3/21/2019, not today 6/13/2019, so do you think so I need new police clearance today ? Or can I submit my 3/21/2019 FBI  police clearance , is it work ?

Vawa I-360 received date :1/7/2018

6/13/2019 Rec’d message about Evidence .

On June 13, 2019, we mailed a request for additional evidence for your Form I360, PETITION FOR AMERASIAN, WIDOW(ER), OR SPECIAL IMMIGRANT

Hey there...the police clearance document you have..how long is it good for..it should say somewhere in the document..mine did! If it's expired then do please get a new one..also you should wait to see what they are requesting for to be sure if you haven't received it already! Do let us know precisely what they want this time...😏

Hi guys, update on the latest part of my GC journey:

-interview 5/31 (40 min interview, officer was training another officer, lots of questions but all polite, 120 days letter. I wasn’t sure it had gone well despite my attorney congratulating me)

-6/2 (Sunday from all days) got all sort of alerts that my case was approved back on 5/31- “card in production”

-6/4 “I-485 approved” update

-6/5 card has been mailed

-6/6 card has picked up by USPS

-6/7 card has been delivered (it had a tracking number)

The approval, Welcome to US letter arrived on 6/6 and the card on 6/7. Mail goes to my attorney, more reliable and faster for me.

I picked it up at my attorney’s yesterday. I’m sooo happy! I wanted to sleep with my card by me on my bed. 😊 I gave up the idea, afraid I was going to break it!

I applied for Vawa while still living with my abuser. My abuser withdrew the I-130, former I-485 denied. I re applied together with new I-765. Got a new job at the exact date my new EAD was approved. All nerve wracking, as you all know. At 13 months of waiting for my Vawa approval, I sent new evidence: divorce decree, shelter letter, another therapist letter (not evaluation) and new police report. Vawa approved at 16.5 months.

It was a difficult and very painful journey, but ready to leave it all behind and enjoy my life. Good luck to all who are waiting, your time will come. God is faithful.

Congratulations! Emojis your new awesome life...... in shaa Allah we all will share our great news🙏🏼

It shouldn’t matter as long as it is this year sign document. You should get an answer back after submitting the RFE in 30-90 days average 30-46 days

What did I miss here? 😏 your post says you think RFE is about....please no speculations... it's serious business..it's the reason why I said wait till you get the RFE to be sure what they are asking! And please with USCIS everything matters! You can't afford to take chances! Anything worth doing is worth doing well!!! Kindly share with us WHEN you get the RFE only THEN will we know for certain what they want! Cheers😊

Claudia, do please bear in mind that if you have been here less than 3years prior to filing for VAWA then you will need clearance from your home country or the country you resided before moving out here! Otherwise the RFE is uncertain..until you get it, we wouldn't know for certain!

Immigration strictly focus on the person applying for a benefit. Is irrelevant as an abuse evidence that you got custody of your son. Other than having a child in common with your abuser only proof Good Faith / Bonafied marriage.

Having children is not proof of good faith or bonafide marriage by USCIS.

Phase I - IV - Completed the Immigration Journey

Let me correct this here ,Vawa petitioners and widow don’t need the l864 affidavit but they need the l864W affidavit .Are you sure they are asking the l864 and not the l864W?because with l864W shows you are exempt to have a  sponsor.

Hi! Sandra thank you for answer they send me this and im applying for vawa

can anyone tell me for how long I can work on this EAD card ?

Hi..it tells you on the card how long it's valid for! Usually one year (12months) and there's no automatic renewal, you have to renew 3 to 4months before expiration date!
