Timeline

Nov 2016 field vawa i360..i765 and 1485

Dec 2016 biometrics 

May 2018 vawa approved 

May2018 received ead c31 

October 2018 i485 sent to other location

October 2018 courtesy letter rfe medical exam

Dec 2018 responded and sent medical exam 

April 2019 sent ead renewal 

Jul 2019 card is being produced 

 

Still no interview date 😕 at least i got another year of ead approved 

Contact your congressperson to inquire on your behalf regarding form I-485.

Can I file for AP now? And I think EAD should be release anytime soon? Will i have to pay a fee now if i file separately?

You don't have to pay to renew your AP, submit a copy of your I-797  regarding form I-485 showing the fee was paid or waived, if waived submit a new I-912.

Usually they ask if you are divorced or not, if you are not divorced just say why not, but you will not  have a problem.

Probably your VAWA was approved and you got the work permit category C31. They submit this category of  work permit (C31) after VAWA approval.

If your son is in the U.S in his AOS he should file form I-485 anytime, if he is abroad you have to file form I-824. He doesn't need to wait for your AOS approval can file anytime, but if his interview will be scheduled after you get your green card.

Hey Sparrow! My family also wrote affidavits for me..and they did mention everything, good and bad times...so yes they can mention the abuse, but not dwell on it!😊👍

Colorado is too generic! Just google for your district/zone/location/address..try it out now and see what results you get!

@sandranjGod forbid and it won’t happen to anyone in Jesus name ,I want to ask what happens if someone’s lawyer passes away and all your letter goes to his address,how do some navigate that side ,cause anything can happen at anytime ,if someone’s lawyer that is representing someone’s case die what’s gonna happen and all the letters is meant to be going to his address just saying I don’t pray such happen to anyone but you things happen ...or if the lawyer fall sick that can be able to do anything ..what will the owner of the case do ...I pray for long life for everyone just thinking out loud

We,lawyers,have secretary and usually the secretary will handle the situation  forwarding the letters to the clients and if the office closes the letters will return to the USCIS.

Hello Folks, I got a weird problem. When I checked my case status through the old USCIS website (even.uscis), it showed my up address has been blocked due to the unusual usage. But I don’t check my status yesterday. This thing happened to my friend on this morning. Can anyone know what happened? Is there a problem with the website? Thanks for your help!
