If anyone needs you to be divorced from your spouse (for your own good) it will be Vermont! Adjusting status based on an approved i360..does not demand you should be divorced from your abuser..even though like you said earlier, it is expected! A few days ago..someone who's still married to their abuser stated they went for their interview and got their Greencard already..so I don't think that's an issue for deliberation! A number of factors can delay or discourage you from having a divorce immediately of which I'm sure the officers understand! There's no aos without an approved i360! If you have an approved i360, and you meet all other requirements for the aos, your greencard is sure!

Hope so dear because i don't want to be rush!!! or stress about that!!

I hear you loud and clear. As a little girl, I dreamed of my Prince Charming, how we would do everything together, and grow old together, and this might sound corny, but I truly believed in endless love, I never saw this coming, and I kept giving him a second chance, a third chance, a fourth, a fifth, until after I was hospitalized one time (9 weeks after I gave birth to our youngest, go figure), I realized he would never change. Again, all I can ask everyone to do for me, is thank God for my life, that's all. I came out alive, with my precious children, I have my sanity and my peace of mind, thank you God!!πŸ™

God bless you sis πŸ™‚

Wow! So sorry nobody deserves that! When love hurts, it just won't work! I still believe in love though because I'm a super positive person! But humans have turned into monsters! Very selfish and desperately hostile! Seems like with each passing day, humanity just degenerates! Sometimes I wish I was born in an earlier generation where there was some sanity and people still had conscience! My parents are still together 40yrs and counting! I might just go back to the convent!πŸ™

Go to the hearing that you will have regarding the restraining order.The Court grants the restraining order and then you have the hearing. She has to prove Β why the restraining order should be extended. Β YOU MUST attend the hearing ok, Β otherwiseΒ this can have serious implications in yourΒ VAWA case. USCIS does not take into consideration letters from the abuser, Β but they Β take into consideration aΒ restraining order against you, if extended.

the best think that you can do is to go, it is hard and it hurts, i know that from experience for the past 4 years i had to file forΒ 3 extensions on my restraining order and finally i made the hard decision and i had charge him withΒ Β violation and bodily harm. And belie me from my last court date when he was charged i'm in piece for now, no more harassment no more stoking no more violent voice messages and phone calls no more coming and slamming on my door in the middle on the night no, the only think i have to worry is if my I360 will be approved. Just remember we are here for each other and if we can help in any way please let us know.Β

I agreed with your opinion.Β

@Sandanj

@Stillwinning and others. I need a very urgent advise. I did not file AP with my EAD renewal in February, the fees was waived then. I just confirmed from attorney. And iΒ believe the error was mine.

Can I file for AP now? And I thinkΒ EAD should be release anytime soon? Will i have to pay a fee now if i file separately?Β

I need advise on this. Thank you all.

Guys, has anyone recently been approved for i-360? When I say approved I mean where the status charged to "your case was approved"not "your card is under production"?

Β

I'm trying to get a timeline of how long it takes for them to approve your case after receiving the work permit. It's be 48 days for me since I received my work permit(C31)

Β

@Stillwinning!!!😊 I know yours took 28 days if I remember correctly. πŸ˜‡
