Here’s what you can do.

1. U.S. birth certificate

2. U.S. passport “which you said you don’t have access to”.

3. Statement from a consular officer certifying U.S. citizenship

4. Certificate of naturalization or citizenship and/or

5. Form FS-240, Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States.

If you cannot locate these documents then provide as much as these information as possible which I’m gonna list.

1. Complete name

2. Date of birth and country of birth

3. A-Number and Class Admission if naturalized

4. The date and place of entry into the United States if naturalized

5. Any correspondence from USCIS that may be able to submit that indicates a previous file number and or

6. Any other document which indicates the place of birth

7. Parents full name.

What I did with my wife because I had no documents was list all her parents name, date of birth, place of birth, children names and their date and place of birth. List my wife full name, date of birth, SSN, her place of birth.

I sent my renewal under C09 in June and still no receipt notice 6 weeks later. I keep praying my attorney will get something soon so I can track. It’s crazy just waiting and waiting for at least something so I can  feel some assurance.

I waited 4weeks to get it..but I remember someone here waited about 7weeks..or so..it's coming I know how uneasy the feeling can be..I used to look out for the mail each day when I get back from work LOL! But it came! You'll be fine!😊

It's okay don't beat yourself up so much..what's done is done..we can only take up the pieces and make the best of them! How about you put your foot down..go to the office and demand attention as you paid for the services? I really don't put much faith in over-the- phone conversations! Also the congressperson is a reliable help in times like this..hold unto them...if you've had enough and really wanna let your attorney go, I can't blame you for that...just look around for a reputable one..if you choose to do it yourself, fine too as this place right here with our dear Sandra is really formidable!👍🙌

Also everyone here will help you as much as they can. And believe me there are people with so much knowledge and experience you cant even imagine.

😆😆😆😆 it's TRUE,  the officer is lazy my dear that's what I see... I wish his spouse had filed i485 b4 now for him, that would have helped him,... that was what I used for mine  I had refer to the i485 number to USCIS in a cover letter... @Trizzle really gave him a good answer though, may God help him , in jesus name....

I am about to file VAWA 360 485 concurrent filling

1. Do we need to submit medical exam report with the package at the same time?

2. About to purchase a house in San Francisco bay area, any benefit for VAWA applicant on mortgage/loan interest rates after we receive "prima facie letter"?

Do not submit the medical exam now because VAWA is taking a long time and until you have your AOS interview the medical exam will be expired. Prima facie is just to obtain medicaid and some States give food stamp, and can apply for FAFSA(student loan)

I was wondering what happens if you have a pending i485 and the officer holds the case and allows you to renew your EAD, while having a separate EAD Filed concurrently with i360.

If you have a valid I-765 and it won't expire within 6 months then don't submit a new I-765 along with the I-360. I prefer to submit form I-765 to renew the EAD not concurrently with form  I-360.

Hi guys I would like to ask some questions and also I’m new here and following yours discussion

1.can I apply vawa ( i360) with 765 131 together when I asked my attorney he said we gonna apply 360 self petition first and he told me 765 has fee ( work permit) is that true ?

2.my 485 denied because after I left all this happened I didn’t go interview with her they denied and they said may be fraud marriage because didn’t show up interview  Can I also apply I485 because my spouse citizen ..

3.i have a lot of voice message (bad) anybody knows how to take them out and put in other evidence document

4.vawa I know for women mostly but why I can’t apply if something happened also to me  I didn’t come here to see bad things if she brought me here and played with me like animal and threatening even saying I wanna kill you so why I can’t apply when I went for support some organization they were even see like that happened to men I was Shock thank you for answering

God bless you

Clearly your attorney has no clue about Vawa. He should file I-360 along with I-485. There is a fee to file AOS if you can't afford to pay the USCIS fee then file form I-192.

USCIS will not accept recorded material, see some place where they transcribe the audio to text. Men can apply for VAWA without any problem. The organization you went they have no clue about VAWA either.

@sandranj @Stillwinning!!!😊 And members with helpful info, what does having a priority date on your vawa approval letter mean if your ex is a US citizen?

It means nothing. If your spouse is a U.S Citizen you have right away a   visa number available

Since it’ll be a first time sending in EAD 31 renewal, do we have to pay fees etc? Any idea?

To renew the EAD using a different category you have to pay the fees, if you can't afford to pay the fees use form I-912.
