can vawa applicants apply for citizenship even after divorcing their spouse while still waitin for vawa aproval? how long do we have to wait to apply? my husband is US citizen

I believe the answer is that VAWA petitioners can apply for citizenship 3 years after being granted residence if they do not remarry before that time...of course I'm open for corrections..I've only heard this over and over here and elsewhere!😏

You need to have your Green Card to apply for citizenship,  the only difference in applying is the length of years  (U.S citizen Spouse or Us citizen Vawa beneficiary within 3 years) all other category 5 years.

Praise the Lord🙇‍♂️!!! & lot of love for all members💝.

AoS Interview date is in August-2019, 3rd week.

1. Can anybody help me when I can get Green card after AoS interview, as I want to book tickets for my home countries?

2. also does my previous Vaccine record ( which I applied with my spouse, in 2015) is Valid or not ?

Interview notes says " I-693 is not submitted or expired"

Quickly update your medicals in preparation for your impending interview! Some folks get out of the interview and get the approval update..others wait few days, weeks or months! No one can tell you exactly when! But we all hope you get it right after your interview!😉👍

@Roms2017i didn't have the divorce finalised before filling plus I changed my state so I had to wait for the applicable state laws before filling. I just followed up with the divorce lawyer and I got the final decree.

@FridayGirl@69 No dear I missed the number the last time. Can you please provide it again.

Thanks and really appreciate it. 😊😊
