Hi I read ur stories and it was really inspiring. I was in removal of status at the moment and I so nervous about my case. I have with the similar case with u guys  my ex husband.And I thought my lawyer will filed for vawa case I explained to him my what happen to my marriage but instead he filed it as divorced entered in a good faith marriage. I am have a feeling too that my ex husband was trying to call the  Uscis, I hope u can give me an Advice thank u 

You cannot file VAWA to remove conditions of green card, they will deny the petition.  You need to file an extreme cruelty waiver which is similar to divorce waiver.  If u are divorced, there is no issue with ROC with divorce waiver.

I filled for i360,i485 and i765 at same time since june 2018.after my wife withdrawal her petition filled for me after 3months vawa send me another work authorization card and they called me for fingerprinting,now is more than a year now my status is showing frigerprinting  reviewd is completed.and I applied for my ead renewal 5monthsago till now no extention letter and my categories for ead is c09 actually my lawyer made a mistake sent my ead renewal to NBC INSTEAD OF VAWA.pls my people i need advice what can I do on this sutiation

Renewals are currently taking anywhere between 5 and 8 months..some even wait long! I sent in my EAD C09 renewal Feb 2019 still waiting! Also USCIS doesn't send you a separate extension letter! If you received notice of action after submitting your renewal then therein lies your extension document! Read it thouroughly to see the purpose it serves! My EAD was also sent to NBC instead of Vermont..but they will redirect it to the right place!

AT stillwinning,...….we applied at same month,you said that they we redirect it to right place but I received notice of action showed NBC receipt number.Also I took my notice of action they sent to me to my job but they don't took it from me the HR told me is not showed extention and c09 is not appear on the notice of action they sent to me but my expired ead  showed c09 now am  out job since last month

The new rule now makes the notice of action serve as an extension wether it is indicated therein or not! Of course not every organization is familiar with the USCIS rules...you'll just have to persist to make them see! It can be really tough..so many folks here have same experience like you...I was seriously alarmed what I would do when my C09 EAD expired but thankfully my vawa got approved and the C31 EAD came just in good time! @sandranj will advice you best! She's the attorney here..there has to be a way around it..the ignorance of your employers! I pray the ead gets approved soonest so you can get on with your work life!

@sdot0479 my notice of action also has NBC receipt number...USCIS remains one body but we just have to channel our applications to the correct office for proper and ease of processing! Lots of folks have been in this position...of sending in renewals to NBC instead of Vermont..but it's redirected like i said! In a short while the application will be approved though!
