On July 26, 2019 we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC##########.

I filed my VAWA case on January 31, 2018 and today it says  New card is Being Produced. My I485 was placed on Hold in the NYC field office when i went to the interview last year based on my ex husband I130 and they renewed the EAD Card based on my pending I485.

Congrats. Please Lord let this approvals rain in this forum. USCIS seems active this afternoon.

It means you have been approved! It will be updated to approved in the coming weeks! Probably after you get your card!

Thank you , i hope everyone comes with a good news soon. They never requested any RFE and i was expecting it that way because i had a very strong case. Its been a long painful  journey.

So many have lived in pains here..It's such a shame! But hey thank God for the prospects of a brilliant future...I'm in NYC too...perhaps in a couple of months they will send your i485 to the local office to join the queue for interview!

Thanks for the prompt respond. I guess our cases are tackled differently. Congrats once more.

Sandra has stated that online updates are not reliable. I hope your documents made to the original petition. Let’s pray for your quick approval.

Sorry I slept off! So yeah...USCIS wants record for the past 3yrs..prior to filing the petition...they didn't say past 14yrs..so it might not count against you..but then the good part is you have documents showing you've been long pardoned and all...just incase anything comes up! These are my logical thoughts you'll have to ask @sandranj the attorney of repute here! She's a blessing and knows her stuff! Truly one of kind!💕💕💕💕💕💕 I sincerely wish you all the best! Also do not dwell on negativity, what doesn't work for someone else might work for you...don't let anything hold you down or back..reach for the stars!!! 🌟😊👍

To have the AOS approved USCIS will look the person entire criminal record  ,even if a crime was committed 10/20/30 years ago.

USCIS does not adjudicate the AOS considering if the person was acquitted, pardoned or had the case dismissed  etc ,  they will consider the State criminal law and if the crime was a crime of moral turpitude or a felony with a sentence of more than one year.THE person has to obtain a CERTIFIED COURT DEPOSITION and considering what they ‘see in the deposition they will approve or deny ,even if the person for example had the case dismissed,if the IO is convinced the person committed the crime USCIS still  can deny the AOS.

Hello. I want to ask you for advice. I am studying the instructions for Vawa on the site. I want to know if I have the right to do so, being outside of America. My husband filed for divorce, there was no divorce so far, and made him leave with threats, I understand that I made a mistake, but I was scared. Now I want to fight and get documents regardless of him. Thank you.

Hi I read ur stories and it was really inspiring. I was in removal of status at the moment and I so nervous about my case. I have with the similar case with u guys  my ex husband. And I thought my lawyer will filed for vawa case I explained to him my what happen to my marriage but instead he filed it as divorced entered in a good faith marriage. He explained to me that  he said I have enough evidence for me to remove my status through divorce, But I could say that I have more evidence for abuse like police report, Restraining order, letter from the women shelter and pictures of my bruises. And the documents that I have with my ex husband are the lease from our apartment, utilities bills, tax return and some of our pictures from our trip around the state that we lived. We don’t have joint bank acct together because he don’t want too no insurance because he was not working. And my job didn’t provide too. They as for RFE but like I said that’s all I can provide. I just respond from RFE and all I can give to them are the affidavit from the people who knows us as a married couple. I am have a feeling too that my ex husband was trying to call the  Uscis, I hope u can give me an Advice thank u
