I posted a few days ago asking if i should withdraw VAWA and I just attend the interview next mont with my husband. Today, my attorney received my Prima Facie!!!! My i360 receipt date is May 28, 2019. I think that’s a sign from God to just continue the fight!! Thanks to everyone who gave their advise and support. This group is going to be my shoulder to lean on in the next few months or maybe year. God bless us all!!!

That is so good! I am so happy for you. You just gave me some hope to keep fighting. Did you send in the vawa with the pos and work authorization forms? Also what date did you send it? and how long will it take to get approved and for you to work?

My attorney mailed everything on May 24. The receipt notice is May 28. Got my biometrics appointment July 19. Prima facie on July 22. Yes, she mailed ead and aos forms concurrently. Nothing approved yet. Waiting game begins.

Hi @MAYgirl Thank you! Did your lawyer tell you how long you will have to wait for an approval of the ead and approve the aos like how long it will take? the timeframe?

I’m getting worried everyone, it’s been 1 month since I applied for my EAD renewal and no notice of action letter yet. I just want to make sure I didn’t miss anything and waiting a month with nothing is worrying me. I’ve heard lots of stories about EAD and I don’t understand why Vermont takes this long to send NOA letters.

I saw cases VSC took 2 months to send the receipt then don't worry about it.

Good morning VJ Family, i have a question for you if you can assist me?

I had submitted a RFE to the USCIS in Vermont, and it will be 2 months in a few days should i worry or should i just pray more and hopefully i will have a positive response in a few weeks?

Thank you once again and i hope you all have a bless week.

They have 180 days to give a decision, after receiving the RFE answer. I saw many cases here they waited  4/6 months to have the VAWA adjudicated after VSC received the documents required.

Hello lovely people.

i haven’t been on here in a while. I have a question. I have done me i485 interview since September 28th of last year. Yes it way outside of processing time. I would like to make an info pass but I’m not sure how to go about it. My father was hit by a truck today and he die. I desperately need to go to his funeral.

Any helpful advise is appreciated. Thank you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am just reading all posts now. I was traveling. If you filed I-131 and didn't receive the AP yet, set up an appointment with infopass  go there to get   "emergency advance parole", you must bring the I-131 receipt, if they don't have a date available now then walk in and they should issue without any problem, but bring some proof he passed  away.

Hello Family!

So for my initial good faith marriage RFE, I gathered the following:

A) 13 page affidavit describing in detail:

courtship, marriage, small details like where we used to go, activities we did

why i do not have joint accounts with my spouse- did not get SSN till after i left

why i am not on the lease- spouse refused

who was at the wedding and who not and why

everyday routine

their family history from grandparents and on and family dynamics

stories from their childhood... like you share with your partner

stories connecting gifts exchanged

who got the rings and rings description

b) pictures of the gifts i got from spouse and location if known

c) tons of pictures tied to the events and locations in affidavit

d) texts- everyday mundane things, making plans to go places, etc

e) electric bills

f) joint membership to things

g)FLOOR PLAN of the apartment that i drew by hand with detailed notes

h) affidavits from family and friends

i) e-mails exchanging info for plans and stuff

j) my bank statements with transactions tied to out restaurant visits etc.

any more ideas and suggestions??

Hope everyone is in positive vibration or on the way to it!! I really value and am thankful for  this community and all you beautiful people. !

XOXO

Get affidavits from family and friends stating about bonafide marrriage and/or abuse. Ask your mother or siblings to give you an affidavit.

Do not go to a psychiatrist, every single evaluation that I read drafted by psychiatrists were horrible, find a psychologist or a counselor who works with victims of abuse.

Hi guys,

I still have a question about my I-485 interview location.
I am currently pending for 485 and 360. I was told by USCIS customer service rep that Vermont is processing my I485 now.
So, I moved from FL to CA recently and I sent an address update to Vermont and DHS by mail as required by USCIS website.
I never got any address change confirmation from USCIS and Idk where they will schedule my interview.
I also sent a mail to Vermont requesting to schedule my I485 interview in CA 3 weeks ago. No response received.
I also applied to EAD+AP extension 3 weeks ago using new address in forms and received receipts.

Just 15 mins ago spoke with USCIS customer service and they told me that current address on my I485 is in Florida...so they didnt update my address and it seems like interview will be scheduled in FL.
Please let me know how to make interview happen in California?
Thank you.
