Thanks ladies! I wasn't expecting it myself but all glory to God.  I'm waiting on my vawa approval though. Its been 16 months since I filed for vawa. I pray things work out for us all. Amen!

Do we start counting our VAWA approval from the time a new card is being produced under C31, or do we count from the time our case status online changes to “approved”. Just wondering. Anyone with helpful info pls share. Thank you 😊

I just got a police clearance from back home. you need the police clearance if you have lived anywhere in the last 3 years prior to filling vawa. If you are resided here more than 3 years here in the us you don't need it. You only need a police clearance from where you resided (county police clearance)

If you were back home in the last 3 years for more than 6 months you need to submit that. first send someone from back home to get information what is needed to get a clearance from your country police department. 

My country needs an authenticated finger print so I went to an assigned finger print services then notarise it at bank, went to city gov. for authentication, Department of state, Embassy of my home country then I sent the document. In my country you need a power of attorney then i sent a power of attorney they notarise the documents at ministry of foreign affairs, then they took the document to police department of forensic examination, got the clearance and again notarise it at ministry of foreign affairs and they sent it back to me. If my experience helps

I need help, I'm about to submit my RFE for good moral character. it is specific they need a police clearance from back home which I have now. But I'm not sure if they need some other affidavit. I'm adding one affidavit for my character from a relative, emails from where I volunteer. The personal affidavit which i submitted was one paragraph. Do I need to add a personal affidavit?

If so please help me find a sample or some kind of templates.

and what else do i need for good moral character? I already submitted an affidavit from my pastor, mom, sister and a friend.

Not everyone gets that notification! I never got any of that! It stayed silent for almost 18months..It felt dead to me..next thing I know..RFE! That was when communication started to the glory of GOD!😊

Because when i file  I just have 5 days to file the vawa and gathered as much as I can from evidence

I got more from the divorce what she claims but the divorce court found that she is lying to the immigration and the family court

If ur son is a US Citizen VAWA does not apply.

You should be fine dear..all you stated is almost all I sent them..though all they really need is the clearance from home country..but its fine to throw in your personal affidavit reiterating you are a person of good moral character..the works! Pastor friends..relatives like you mentioned! Your approval is just at the door hun😘💕💕
