I’m getting worried everyone, it’s been 1 month since I applied for my EAD renewal and no notice of action letter yet. I just want to make sure I didn’t miss anything and waiting a month with nothing is worrying me. I’ve heard lots of stories about EAD and I don’t understand why Vermont takes this long to send NOA letters.

It's not really unusual..as I got mines in about 4weeks! Same time you're at now! So you might be receiving it sooner or later..but you'll be receiving it!🙌 hold on just a lil bit longer..😊👍

Hi guys,

I’m February 12-2018 filler and I just got an update on my case today saying that they sent me RFE.

I check every single post of this forum and think have an idea of how it works 😂

However I’d like to ask, have you heard from someone who has received a negative decision after sending their RFEs responses?

thank you

I’ve never heard of someone getting a negative result from a RFE. It’s kinda hard to mess up a RFE response because the RFE itself will be specific what USCIS needs from you. Most of the time is something missing, additional information/document or needs some clarification. Good luck.

Anxious already?😂😂 anyway @FeDaniela has basically responded on how it really works...and also it's true that this RFE's are specific but satisfying an officer is another issue on it's own! I've seen folks give their all and are still asked to prove it more..also seen others give not so much and approved without further questions! The decision to approve or send RFE lies solely at the discretion of the officer in charge of your case..but the good news is that denials are rare! I've seen a couple of timelines here that included previous denials that were reopened and later approved! It will be in your best interest to make sure you supply all they request and send it in in a timely manner..then let God do the rest!😊🙌

Hi,

I’m really sorry for your loss. Tragic death. My condolences to you and your family. May he rest In Peace. You can type uscis infopass on google and schedule an appt. I heard it’s very hard during the day, but, the website shows available time slots after midnight.

Also, you can call uscis and ask for an update or ask an attorney to inquire on your behalf. I would also contact your Congress person since it’s almost over 10 months to check on the case status. Best of luck!

Thank you for you kind word and advise. God bless you.

No worries. It must be a missing document or translation. I got 1 requesting my divorce decree.

The negative decisions happens when the Request for evidence (RFE) does not fulfill, satisfied or complete the information that is being ask by the officer reviewing your case and is not enough for an approval, or RFE is not answer on the deadline time frame establish. Other than that VAWA Unit gives opportunity and will issue several RFEs if is necessary  until everything is clear for an approval or in other stances the officer can denied if something is suspicious or not clear, and the RFE response did not satisfied the information missing.  Some cases have being denied and people file motion to reconsider or to reopen and they are given the opportunity to explain and after is approved. All depends on what the RFE is for and the proof submitted.

Thank you so much I’m very optimistic and you’re response really helped me, I’ll keep you posted! Is on god’s hands

My attorney filed i360 last May and my biometrics appointment is this week. My husband got a mail about our upcoming marriage based i485 interview next month and he said he will go no matter what. I’m afraid about what he’s gonna say. He wants us to get back together but doesn’t want to help me in getting evidence for genuine marriage like bank accounts etc.. i still love my husband but this cycle is killing me. Should I cancel my vawa, attend the interview with my husband and just pray for the best?

i have police reports, restraining order, letter from domestic violence counselor, screenshots etc. i know I have a strong case but I’m totally confused.

Ladies please advise me what to do

My suggestion is you should get back together. Love don't just happen.

😳😳😳 it's ok to leave a broken marriage and go to your parents on foot unlike stay and go to your parents in a coffin, an abuser is always abuser.
